I ordered an x100e last February and absolutely love it. I did install an SSD and windows 7 x32 and it boots in about 20 seconds consistently. I mainly use office 2010 and firefox as applications and it is plenty fast for that.

@photoflix291 hihi, it's a good idea. I think that I will do the same thing, but with linux mint (based on ubuntu anaway).
