  • I see 'darroh' and clifford every week. They're cool guys.

  • man I remember them at dfest in 2004 (maybe 2005 not sure on the year) by far one of their best shows, it was before andrew through his voice out

  • i think im like the only fucking person in my town that knows of this band.. i want to buy a t-shirt so people will be like "Fair to Midland? Hmm im going to youtube them and quit being gay.:

  • ahahah same here man

  • Awesome :)

  • Fair to Midland = My Favorite Band :D

  • Fair to Midland= One of my top 3 Favorite Bands. :D

  • I agree with Higgensworth. The band gave my wife a copy of the Cd.

.. LOL!!!! c'mon dude.... all you have to do is google inter.funda.stifle to know that IT'S NOT on the album. better yet, just look on the back of the album, but i'm 100% certain you don't have it after that lol.

  • LOL! hey stupido.... is it, or is it not on inter.funda.stifle?

yea, that's what i thought. don't post anymore idiocy on my video.

  • he did title it correctly

wifey=wife the kids and the white picket fence

that should be pretty obvious, especially since he said it in the description if you didn't know it in the frst place

  • I swear... FTM need to tour Australia!!!

  • fair to midland, wooooo! =D

    kick ass band

  • most unreal vocal climax of our generation, his voice is seriously beyond anything else out there (save cocaine addled vocal chords like davey havoc), and they OPENED with that?

  • this song is on their album "fables from a mayfly."

  • ..... i know man.

check out the vid info sometime, it's pretty neat-o. some of the other folks comments are pretty fun too.

  • yeah..i should have read that first. I'm just used to people posting things and not knowing anything about it. sorry.

  • This song is so rare that I can't find any guitar tabs for it :/ I'd love to learn this and it's hard to play by ear.

  • His guitar is tuned in an open C. Once you play in that tune its quite easy to figure out.

  • CCSL was released just never commerically, and now its pretty hard to find, I want a copy so bad though. Words cannot describe how good FTM is

  • This song is arguably one of their best.

    Absolutely breathtaking. Just beautiful.

  • first ftm show ever, i was totally kinda scared at first... but after the show i was totally in love.

  • Carbon Copy is much different than Fables though... Carbon Copy seems to be much more metal where as Fables takes a much lighter side of FTM.

  • I wish I could get my hands on CC. It was never really released to my knowledge. They sold it themselves at shows before Fables released. :(

From what I hear, it is an amazing album.

  • Carbon Copy was one of the two self produced albums that was mostly sold in texas.

  • great tallent

  • Higgen, IT IS in the album.

  • like i've said before. I posted this video over a year ago.

Take a moment to look right next to the video and notice how it says VIDEO ADDED: NOVEMBER 05, 2006... This was posted before FTM even started recording the new album that all you fanboys listen to.

When i said it isn't on the album... i was talking about INTER.FUNDA.STIFLE... Not Fables Of A Mayfly.

  • I like Fables better than IFS.

Carbon Copy Silver lining though, is almost just as good as Fables.

  • i like no?

  • Yoz, this song is "the wife, the kids, and the white picket fence" and it's my favorite song on the whole fables from a mayfly album.

  • extremely solid song, but incredibally hard to put it ahead of Manatee, Cologne, Eggmen, Brigade, or even Say When. All of those songs just own.

  • holy shit he can sing. daaamn

  • Heck ya, I can safely say that he's among my favorite singers of all time...he might actually be my number one...hmmm...his voice sends chills down my spine :)

  • i totally agree, i feel in love with him when I had seen them live. it was the best impulse show i ever went to

  • hmmm at 3:18 he seems changed the lyrics a bit from the one on fables from a mayfly version. dont know... interesting. and also with seaferer's knot.

  • I JUST saw them on the 29th, they were great.

  • my favourite songs

  • IM GOING TO SEE THEM IN HOUSTON ON 29TH!!!! AHHHHHH! they are so awesome! i cannot wait!

  • grandisimos!!

  • this post was made before Fables of a Mayfly was released.

  • FTM is unreal live! His voice is ridiculously good!

  • Fuck, thats a fucking hard vocal part do nail down at the end!! Great show

  • This is one of my top favorites from their "Fables From a Mayfly..." CD. "Go on, paint the whole town red. I'd rather follow who cleans up the mess, and so I wait."

  • Songs really don't get any better than this. And god damn, that bass drum REALLY sticks out.

  • LOVE this song... soooo good

  • AMAZING song :)

  • HaHa Wifey

  • Such a good song.

  • this video is also not from the Granada Show. i don't know what show it is, but i'm 100% positive that it is not the Granada.

  • it says its in Tulsa..

this song is on the new album coming up.

  • the info about the video has been changed since i posted my comments.

  • the actual name of the song is "The Wife, the Kids, and the White Picket Fence."
