Quit your bitching. I've got credit card debt too and I'm actually going to PAY it. (gasp! amazing concept). I live on my own, I work for everything I own, and I fucked up with my card, but its my own damn fault. PAY YOUR BILLS!
@JasonTandro You can pay it but if the interest is too high you'll never pay it off unless you make more than your overall debt and interest within a short time. if you make less than your debt is or don't pay off the interest you will ultimately throwing your money into a black hole, an abyss, where your debt will never go away. I say lets make usury illegal. 30-50+% interest is just wrong and will eventually destroy the middle class.
Debt will destroy the middle class? Debt is what makes us middle class. If we didn't have obligations we'd all be rich. And if you're going to sign a contract that lets people do this to you then you are bound by your signature to pay off all of your debt to the company.

then they continue to allow a company to try to process the payment over and over and over, then they both charge you. i owed over $400 dollars one time for being short 2 pennies (my error of course) but they processed the highest payment first which was actually charged last so they could make money off it. furthermore how is something processed and avail, but not really avail? my auto ins was paid, but B.O.A took it back a month later and my ins was cancelled- no one even called to tell me.
bank of america is a rip off- i had so many probs w/ them while i had them- i closed my account after numerous lies and scams, and urge all of my friends to do the same- i had 4 others close their account and transfer any debts to other companies because all of my friends ended up having the same issues sooner or later. say you have 3 bills, and u were short a few pennies, they will charge the highest one first, to charge you bounced fees on the other two instead of the one. wow really?
Society is a complex economic system (i.e. ecological system). A functioning society must have an economic system wherein resources are distributed to individual nodes in the network. Capitalism is simply about personal property rights, and that basis isn't going to go away so long as people need resources.

I used to make that assertion, but if you look up the word Capitalism, there is very little from a definitional standpoint that ties the ideology of Capitalism with the state.
I believe the term you may be reaching for is "Plutocracy"

You don't have to make anymore charges and at 29.9 % if your in a situation where you can only afford minimum payments you'll be years and years trying to pay it off they will rape you ten fold. This is what Obama called predatory practices, so the predators have us trapped and we're saying no to being victims I went from 11.9 to 29.9 for no reason as did thousands of others as reported by CBS.

This isnt about not wanting to pay your credit card debt, everyone has to do that, its about the banks changing the interest rate that you were given in the first place. Say someone borrows 50 dollars and their told that they have to pay back 55 which theyr'e fine with. This is like turning around and saying now you owe 65.

Screw over financial institutions? Are you crazy? Bank of America just hiked a womans credit card rate from 14% to 30%! Now that's getting screwed. I encourage people not to pay the extra. Pay off the bill yes, but at the previous rate and not the rate hike.

I agree with these ladies as I am doing everything right and my credit score proves that.if the banks are going to ruin our scores I agree with this lady screw em.
