  • i like what youve done with the sm57 because its so hard to get the lower mids with that mic did you eq it a bit after recording im curious as to how you got it to record those lower mids well.

  • @NickWeiland i'm not ola, but off cetner/off axis micing helps a lot in terms of low mids. try that.

  • 1:19 Cornford. Because Peavey is too mainstream.

  • Random question: I saw you use glasses. Which eye problem do you have?

  • @LeavesHopeUs the one that make my vision shitty :D

  • Is everything in this video the cornford, or is it just the stuff we are watching you play?

  • te guthrie govan amp

  • isnt that solo in the begging solo from a song that didnt get released? it sounded so good tho

  • @asashesrain it's on the upcoming Feared "Rejects" album.

  • slayer shirt :D

  • that four solo in the beginning is incredible, great work

  • sounds really good!

  • yesss i thought of peter when i saw the name roadhouse xD

  • Play me some Guthrie Govan!

May not be a particularly great choice for chug-style rhythm guitar, but I must say... I'd happily use this amp as part of my metal rig! The higher gain settings have this character to them that could actually be quite useful for very dense chord structures. I'd enjoy hearing this amp in a mix with a very bold Dual Rectifier. I have a feeling that I'd enjoy hearing a quad-tracked tune with each guitar sporting 100% panned Rectifier with 80% panned Cornford!

  • Peter griffin FTW :)

  • wow, this sounds absolutely amazing! the part at 1:10 is exactly the tone i'm after for years. very orange-y. how much is one of these amps?

  • Dude, the gain wasnt even 3/4 up and was metal as fuck.

  • 2:00

Not so metal? or that was just a joke....

  • ROADHOUSE

  • Man, I play thrash Metal on the combo version- this fucker is Metal to the bone!

  • solo at the begining has a cemetary gates vibe

  • класно :]

  • Me thinks you shouldve played some G.G. "Waves" for this demo!!!!

  • I would love to see you do more stuff like that whole opening section. That was so epic.

  • hey i finaly hear you playing an amp i won't be into getting!:)

I'm pretty happy with my Framus Dragon though. it's got a weird chorusing effect i kinda like but, it's all kinds of loose old marshall:(

  • fuckin hell this is just awesome

  • that solo was awesome.

  • Put a boost infront of it and it will sound metal

  • I don't think that there is not metal amps, but only those - not born with default sound like metal (after tweaking all amps can get metall-ish sound)

  • @PuppetGovernmentLV ok, play metal with a valve junior without pedals, and i believe you

  • @givemeajackson What meaned was that there is countless amount of metal styles and to play metal not always need hi-gained sound!

  • @PuppetGovernmentLV but for most metal songs and bands, you need some serious distortion, cause metal is a lot based on palm-muting, and clean palm muting sucks

  • @givemeajackson This is true, but you can get away with not having serious distortion if you have a good enough mix going with a band. As for the Valve Junior comment, with some hot-pickups, some chinese 12ax7's, and the addition of a master volume and it should rock pretty hard.

  • @tbirdpunk yes, but without mods or pedals it doesen't work. will get one anyways, best blues amp out there (btw, its the most cute little amp in the world :D)

  • Great ! Good job dude!!!

  • lol @ peter

  • ...roadhouse.

  • it's not a savage 120 head but its very good for a jazzy sound

  • Good to see you play something not so metal

  • Great solo, man!

  • Whoa dude.. what song is that?

  • Oh my god... what an Orgasmic Vibrato! Man, you´re the best at all styles!

  • Peter Griffin approves

  • dude i loved that solo at the beginning

  • Cornford are one of my favourite amp manufacturers. The MK50H is on my list of amps to own before I die.

  • 0:33 Hört Malmsteen's låt Black Star? ;)

  • even though the amp isnt metal. you make it metal

  • Please do an Orange Rockerverb!

I'd love to hear what you can do with that

  • @adil2552 YES. Man, I'd love to see Ola do a video with an Orange.

  • dude!what pickup model is in your ibanez here?

  • Love the intro to this video. Dude, this is one of the best sounding amps you've reviewed....love it!

  • @dingle1 thanks man... not really my style but I'm glad some people appreciate it!

  • @fearedse

could you use your telecaster next time please?

  • Sounds amazing, why didn't You released it?

  • Roadhouse!

  • Im digging the fact that your showing diversity in your playing thats badass!

  • one day u will stop posting youtube vids.. .and i wil realize he made it!!!!

  • Sounds good, could do metal, not quite the metal amp but it could work, it would probably be good for Hard Rock or Alternative rock/metal and also some stuff like Underoath.

  • You're kidding me, right? That beginning solo was so fucking metal!

  • cool demo! im pretty sure this will be my next amp...

now you need to get hold of a Cornford Richie Kotzen RK100 amp.

  • nice video man:D still though can't stop laughing with the family guy roadhouse part XD

  • nice sounding amp dude!

  • played like a true swede \m/

  • That amp would be great for playing some of Opeth's stuff, like Harvest. Really good sounding for classic rock or not metal :P

  • I like it. It's got that nice, lower-gain cry on the lead playing. Excellent playing as always, Ola!

  • very refreshing nice to hear you lead,i'm a big fan but (sorry) it kinda of sounded all the same. Here we hear you gooof around into some pretty great stuff Great skills wish you all the best wife baby dog ;o)

  • I got a masterclass from Guthrie Govan. That guy owns. Although he got cross with me when i asked him about how to get a semi-harmonic wail from a bend. He said that it's technically indescribable and that it's conjured from a deep finity with your instrument or something of the sort.

  • Guthrie Govan aproves this!!!!! nice demo Ola!

  • Lol @ Roadhouse :D

  • Sounds pretty good to me.

  • Love these amps!

  • the solo sounds jättebra

  • Holy meatballs! Sounds like god pimp slapped my ears.

  • Wich program do you use for create your videos?

  • did you cutt your hair dude?? anyway it's a great sounding amp but yeah it is a bit harsh on one of the settings you put on but it aint bad

  • @Destroyerrrrrr06 no just the office pony tail...

  • @fearedse i have heard the ibanez rgds are only good for low tunings.. could i still use it in standard?

  • @WinterMadness05 there would be literally no point at all, just buy an RG and take advantage of the money you save :L

  • @fearedse :O NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO people we must have a funeral for ola's pony tail :(

  • @Destroyerrrrrr06 Agreed.

  • god listens ...

    ... to slayer

  • Fucking epic.

  • Sounds good for the price. A little too harsh in some settings
