Per avere un'idea piena di questa romanza conviene ascoltare la versione cantata magistralmente dea Bruno Pratico'...dalla pronuncia chiara e accattivante edal ritmo più incalzante...per me molto più interessante.
its not on the film - ponelle cut it out of the script - its marcellinas aria you mean. he cut out basilios aria too. both of the arias aren't directly relevant for the plot and he probably didn't want to make the film too long - it was broadcasted on television during that time...
@alisea87 yeah - "Il capro e la capretta" for Marcellina..."il capro e la capretta, son sempre in amista"...it's actually quite a sub-par aria - definitely not Mozart's best writing. It's a little like "il vecchioto cerca moglie" from Rossini's "Barber" - written for mezzo-soprano, with lots of predicable phrases and awkward leaps. I've never heard a version where Marcellina actually sounds well singing it. It's normally sung by older women with shaky voices. I could see why he wanted it cut
