Dude, the reason the water is darker in some places is because of swamp biomes, the dark water will also sometimes have lily pads.

I think people are being rather aggressive the review covered a newer view on minecraft, if you want a more experienced view I recommend watching a group that reviews specifically MineCraft and MineCraft mods. They hit most of the recent additions so they did more then asked so show more respect please.
