It needs a great deal of thought as to how and where I would make my cuts - but a fascinating project it would certainly be, maybe one day.

Your guitar tone for the intro is very good, but your solo tone is quite terrible. It sounds very digital and annoying actually.
I find it really cool that you recorded all the instruments instead of using a backing track. Cool! But again here, with limited equipment available, it doesn't sound as good as backing tracks you can find on the internet. But still very cool!
@BenjaminMJ hey man - i totally dig your constructive criticism - you got me on that bend at 55 seconds :( I'm finding that the tone i used on the solos is not to everyones liking, i was kind of aiming for the sound Gilmour used on the "Remember that Night" DVD.. in which he gives the solos more umph !! with a more electric tone... i might have had more luck with this if i had the equipment to match the guitar - i'm using a BossGT8, which as you said - is very "digitally", but yeah - thanks :)
@JeffBend Yeah well.. I had a boss gt-8 once.. a general problem with multi effects boards is that the distortions are usually always VERY bad.. now for home practice, i use a Line 6 POD HD500, which has built in distortions that sound GREAT.. maybe 70% as good as my custom hiwatt with pete cornish distortion.. which means it sounds amazing for being digital.. Boss GT-series has always had very bad distortions and amp modeling.
i havent had many keyboards in my life but i found i could really get a deep and almost magical sound out of the casio wk-1800 by layering keyboards and organs together.
one more thing: the keyboard ur using does not due justic to your grand skills on the strings, if you can, pick up something else with more depth and bass to the sound that would give it a heavier feeling. it would go perfect with your pefect work.
ok, so here is my review of you and your music. you did an excellent job at not recreating gilmours work and instead recreating the spirit of gilmours work. most people try to sound exactly like gilmour and end up just sounding like a bad take from the division bell sessions. you instead brought a fresh new feel to an already great song. your vocals sound a lot like phil collins singing floyd material. love it. you have a thin voice that is raspy and throaty, like a mix of dave, and phil. 5 star
