everything was/is player controlled, yes.. including submarines

if anything got sunk, it would reappear after a certain amount of time

rounds lasted well over 45min's and you could choose the kind of war you wanted

it is the best game ever , dice should remake this with a new engine / graphics but not like their latest glare/bloom bf3

best game of bf is bf1942 i love this you can play with big boats and planes what i want in bf3 is sea battles only , only jets dogfight , parashute battle xD i loved these game modes in bf1942 :D if this is in bf3 i am going to play this 24 every day lol

holy shit! you can drive battleships and fire their guns, while assaulting on the ground and using an airforce? that is pure awesome. Im guessing though the mechanics dont quite work their best with a max of only 64 players

People who ask: multiplayer maps in battlefield are always much larger than their alreadylarge singleplayer versions. Also they tend to have special vehicles
