I hate that the game gets so many good reviews in spite in sooooo much Buginess. I mean, I think it truly is one of the best sims out there, but everytime the AI decides to shit a brick, I get problems. First mission that involved sniping, after dying once, I restart and it had this problem of the AI not knowing where the fuck to go, so it showed up late to detonate a bomb to disable the convoy. Hence causing "Mission Fail." Did this till reverting. :|

hey guys.. if you want to play online, use ArmA 1.14 and Tunngle (zero-configuration virtual private network). It's easier to use and more stable than hamachi. It has virtual rooms so it is easy to find others who play it. Cheers~

There are some good mods and alot of addons like cars, weapons and other things. My favorite thing in this game is that i make maps with editor and play them online with my friend.

Yes, ARMA is very realistic.

Like, you can destroy any tank with hand grenades or heavy machine gun. You can even smoke them with a fucking pistol if you are really bored. Yes, ARMA is a very realistic combat simulator.

this game does'nt support dual or quad cores, so it would more than likely work better on a single core processor with a decent amount of RAM as well as a mid range graphics card

that's because Arma: Armed assault doesn't support dual cores, since it only uses one core, so the second core is useless. A powerfull sigle core CPU would be perfect for armed assault, but ArmA 2 supports dual cores. So some dual core users can run Arma 2 as smooth as they can run Arma 1.
