US offers more or less free education for grade 1-12. Spending extra money won't make those who won't attend, attend, nor will giving everyone a free post secondary education reduce crime in any significant way.
Finally, Native Americans before European colonization's life expectancy was in their 30-40s. Exactly identical to the early European settlers until the industrial revolution.

@kcarroll64 in the sandstone falls area of summers county west virginia, I have seen them on 3 different occasions. the estimated population in the area is around 14 birds i think. It's awesome to see them making a comeback.
