you want to know what makes a tattoo hurt? its a set of needles covered in ink stabbing your skin thousands of times over the course of your session. pretty simple really.
Is it me or did he miss like most of that outline and go wayyyy to deep when he was doing that? He was going way to fast too like yes speed is importnts but you're not drawing on paper that guys tattoo may look good finished, but no where near what it should look like....
He does not know what he is doing, he goes way to deep with the needle, that tattoo's ink will expand under the skin making it look so bad. The sound of the needlee needs to be as consistent as it can possibly be, when he is inking you can't even hear it.

The needle for lines only has 3 very closely spaced needles and and shading needle has 9 spaced out needles, some artists will use two different guns so they won't have to change it out and can make it a little faster. but a tattoo gun is just a tattoo gun its the needles that make a difference.

one thing this tattooist doesnt seem to remember, is you CANNOT leave the needle for more than 5 seconds in the skin. short and sweet is the way to go.
yes. u do use petrolium jelly whilst tattooing, otherwise the tattoo artist will be rubbing dry skin and cause irration and infected. Petrolium jelly does not let any air through onto ur skin, and can last a while. it's mainly used for gliding and easy tattooing, it help the tattoo artist move over your skin.

@DJDnyce210 it depends on how hard your skin is, i got a tattoo on my ribs and my artist said i had the hardest skin he'd ever tattooed. Due to that fact he had to push the needle in real deep to get the ink to stay, and when he was shading in the tribal he had to go over it 7 times(literally) for it the ink to stay, and even then the ink didnt stay in at some parts..

@TheBigd103 the feeling is different for a lot of people. some places hurt more and some dont hurt at all, feel more like an irritation. my Calf didnt cripple me over in pain but it was a very unconfortable feeling. it also depends of the location of the forearm, closer to the shoulder, the more pain typically.

@TheBigd103 the feeling is different for a lot of people. some places hurt more and some dont hurt at all, feel more like an irritation. my Calf didnt cripple me over in pain but it was a very unconfortable feeling. it also depends of the location of the forearm, closer to the shoulder, the more pain typically.

It is rather hard not to be rude about this video. I've been drawing practically my entire life, I had kids shake a desk when I was in school just so that I could practice drawing straight. This guy isn't even moving, and this guy tattooing can't even follow the lines. I have to agree with the highest rating comments, I would never get a tattoo from this guy. I mean unless you show the end product this video pretty much came out as an epic fail.
