@shego4893 I stand behind my horses all the time... Like, to freak my mom out I hug their butts, because I know they will NOT kick me. I trained them, I know they have perfect ground manners. I also feed them treats (even treats that are only like two inches long) by holding them in my fingers. It's all about knowing the horse and knowing what their manners are like. But if you do not know a horse, don't go behind it and feed it treats with a flat palm. I have a feeling she knew this horse well.

Hi I don't know about horses but why dont you use spurrs to get your horse to move because I saw on PBR they users spurs and these shocking things to get the horse to move.

haha your so lucky. the climate there must be so nice... i live in alberta, so we have nice weather for maybe 3 or 4 months a year... wearing huge coats and snowpants while riding is far from unnuasual here. hah, my saddle hardly get's used in the winter, i'm always riding bareback.
