I agree that Korn created a new sub-genre of Metal. They kept melody and harmony in thier music, and they play in different key's. I can't stand some of the newer metal bands that are comming out, the Norwegian death and that other shit. with all of KoRn effects going on you would think there using the effects loop, a pedal switcher and a Rack mounted noise suppressor. I Found nothing on them about it.. I own 16 effects effect, a mesa boogie, monster cable studio pro 1000 link cables for my pedals, guitar and cab. I get allot of hum and hiss and i'll tell ya its pretty darn loud man.. even with the volume down. So i got myself a rack with a noise suppressor into the effects loop and the noise is gone. how does Korn do it???

That's because the recording equipment is wired directly to the amps and microphones. It is live. It is probably a seperate microphone wich records the noise from the audience, but it is toned up only when they cheer or sings along, thats probably because the noise from the speakers distorts the sound.
