This man has lovingly hand-reared the gorgeous Trust who is 2 & capable of killing him with one swipe of his vast paws- They have a complete understanding, and a wonderful relationship -which if the lion objected to - he would soon know about it! He smacks him lightly on the back of his paw with a hairbrush when Trust uses his claws and draws blood. He has to teach him not to do this so they can continue to have this close contact.
