On a general note I agree, but there are limits of healthy flexibility... And your ligaments, once stretched, do not get back to their original length.
I've done some research; when you have a few minutes read this:

While you're young you'll have a good range of motion as well as a decreased risk of pulling muscles or breaking bones. When you're older, your risk for arthritis and back pains is decreased as well. It looks like you've got the leg behind the head thing down pretty well. Have you ever tried to see if you could do the full buddhasana thing and get your foot down below your armpit? It definitely looks like you have the hip flexibility for it. It usually takes a bit of fussing and struggling but I bet you could do it.
You really are incredibly flexible, especially your frontbends and knots .. and I see that you`re really trying, pushing, working it. That`s important if you want to get to the next levels. :-)
