I think people "dislike" a video just to be one of the few who "dislike" it. I cannot think of a single person that would "dislike" this song. Sure, they may not enjoy the genre, but out of respect for the quality of the music they would not downvote it. It is like walking out in the middle of a symphony because you don't like the conductor. Music is music. A lot of effort is put into creating it, respect it whether you love it or not.

Don't get me wrong, I love Mayday Parade, and always have, but how is he telling this to his son if she only had weeks to live? Unless they had the child before marraige, which is common, but given the story line, I can only assume he would have mentioned the woman of his dreams giving birth to his child. Later she found out that she was sick and only had a couple of weeks to live :(. In the song he is telling his son not to fall in love because it will only bring hurt in the end :( This song makes me cry so much :'(

@LegitSwitches Insensitivity at it's finest.. i have to wake up every morning and see my father, broken, taking care of a two year old and myself, and i try to help all i can but i still hear him leaving her voicemails and begging her to come home and talk to him about what he should do with finances. he's all broken, and i simply cried as looking at it from his point of view. he loved her and gave everything. perhaps this is why you lack a companion or friend, your too busy trashing comments.
