Well, petrocelly...i suppose he can't get any other job (even retail) with such poor grammar and wording like that. Maybe he just didn't pay enough attention in school? I have an assistant manager at my job who can't spell worth a crap, and they have him watching over masses of money. So I suppose he could work in another line of work if he wanted, after all. XD This guy's methods are all screwed up, though. That tape won't stick. Real pros would laugh at his plastic knife.

This guys doesnt know how to do it.... first of all you need to use the metal knife number 6 meaning 6 inches and the one he is using is the Number 4... plus thats not the correct way of putting the mud.. up and down its wrong. the correct way is to the sides.

The tape is called (Normal Tape) since theres also a different tape you also put in patches called Quick tape which is made out of plastic. And the mud is caled Sheetrock Mud simple as that.

Sheetrock is actually a brand. It's called joint compound.

40 years ago it was simply called mud. I never heard it call jt compound until home depot spawned. of course back then it was more akin to mud than now. Now is really is jt compound with the additives. i like it better now except they have seemed to not have figured out how to keep it from drying out so fast in dry arid climate like here in AZ

Wow... after seeing some other videos. I can now tell a good job from a bad one. Those joints are way too wide. It really is a messy job he is trying to "COVER UP" those sheet rock guys really messed it up. Dont be too hard on this guy. We learn from something from everyone.
