I couldnt live with the "1 knob does many different parameters solution". I mean if you use 1 knob for cutoff and for resonance at the same time, it should be at least an endless knob.

Isnt it that you play a monophonic synth with the keys in combination with knob-twiddling elsewhere it would sound boring?

@Cutrexxx definitiv nicht. Für Strings benötigst du einen Polyphonen synth, am besten einen mit Supersaw oder Hypersaw Wellenformen, also einen Roland, Korg, Blofeld, Nord oder Access Virus, diese sind aber alle nur virtuell analog. Wirklich gute String Patches aus analogen Nicht -Vintage Synths bekommt man beim DSI Prohet 08 oder Alesis Andromeda, aber die sind auch entsprechend teuer (Prophet ca 2000, Andromeda ca 4000 Euro) und u.U auch rar, denn der Anromeda wird nicht mehr hergestellt.

Just so you know, a mixer changes the volume and panning of the sound, nothing more...
