Thanks. It IS low frame rate, but I used the webcam as a still camera, then put the stills together to make a low frame rate video.

Cool...and a little bit creepy. How did you get the wire to look black and flat?

the wire IS very dark, it's the cheap kind that's covered in a layer of wax or whatever, comes in a roll...and it's about 1.5mm thick. i think it seems 'creepy' because its low frame rate.
