  • Wa alaikumusalaam. Brilliant video! :)

  • @farooh20, assalumalikum has nothing to do with being Iranian..how did you work that one out. It's a greeting used by Muslims all over the world. Titli is mashallah a Muslim sister

  • I really like your videos - you explain things really well and always make me laugh as well, thanks! Oh and oswiu1 is right about the red cabbage - the acid of the pickle goes really well with the sweetness of the lamb!

  • Wheres the suet crust?

  • oh the joys of being english

  • Great video. You don't seem to use much seasoning?

  • @lenolith1980 Seasoning is about personal choice. I'm happy if people to use this recipe as a starting point and season as much as they wish.

  • OMGosh this is a fun, educational video and you have such a GREAT wit!!!!

  • It's ages since I had hotpot, the potato slices are usually called scollops in Lancashire. Its usually served with huge spoonfuls of pickled beetroot and/or pickled red cabbage, also plenty of bread to soak up the gravy.

  • Titli I'm sure loads if ppl have asked u why u say khoda hafez ? R u Iranian ?

  • @farooh20 Hendi/pakestaniha khoda hafez migan akhe, va besyari az musalman dar engelestan pakestani hastan. So, she says khoda hafez :)

  • Hi Titli,

I've noticed in some of your videos that you brown/cook your meat before seasoning it. Do you think it makes a different if we season the meat before cooking or not?

  • Walaikum Salaam! I thoroughly enjoy your recipes and the humor you add to it :) You're so carefree and colorful, just like a real Titli :) This aftrenoon I made your Lentil Loaf recipe and it was welcomed by my otherwise carnivore king of a brother......Thanks Titli!

  • oh thanks for doing this I live in Preston Lancashire and wanted to know how to do this! lol

  • Where is the Apfelstrudel ? :D:D

  • I take it you can substitute beef? I don't like lamb. ):

  • @BlatentlyBooshified I knew someone would ask this :-) Yes, but cook it for longer if you want the beef to be tender - at least 3 hours. And don't call it Lancashire Hot Pot anywhere near someone from Manchester :-)

  • @TitliNihaan Haha, I'm from Manchester :D Thank you very much; I shall definitely try this, then.

  • I can't wait to try this at home. It looks delicious!

  • my teacher told me that you dont need oil because the fat f the meat is the oil

  • @wathepoint It depends on how fatty your meat is. I used lean cuts of lamb.

  • There so yummy! Gonna try it sometime!!!

  • Hi Titli, are lambs kidneys strong tasting? Just wondering...

  • @Quentin02143 they do :)

  • @Quentin02143 Yes they are, which is why you only add a few!

  • lol, awesome dish...

  • two and a half hours for a hot pot!!! f**k that!

  • @damon858 You don't have to stand by the oven for all that time. You can get a life while it's cooking....

  • @TitliNihaan two and an half hours to get a life!? and i thought the hot pot was pressure

  • @damon858 :-)

  • Titli: even the word stew can bring back memories of your mothers stew. Me: awww thats nice. Titli: YUK! Me: (O_o)

  • @thenotsew My mother's stew was not pleasant. Trust me.

  • @TitliNihaan No offence, but from a home of unpleasant stew you've come a long way!
