I got some discounts from the dealer. He gives me a pretty good price on the equipment. I think he makes up for some of the discounts on the professional installation. His installers are Cedia approved. There is a lot more to the installation and programming of the remote that are not shown in the pictures. There is more equipment in the cabinet and two mini components behind the center speaker.
Thank you. It is a fifties modern. Built in 1952. My father was the contractor. Never thought I would move back in. Being a contractor myself. I did some remodeling.
Ron, do your neighbors ever complain? Because iif I had this glorious setup, and my neighbors complained, I would pimp slap em :p(This is pretty much my dream set up, I would just have a minimalistic ikea couch as a listening seat :p )
It's my pleasure. The reason being the placement of the sub woofer behind the listening area, is because there is no room on the front wall. Behind the seating area works real well. You can not tell where the deep base is coming from, plus watching blue ray movies you really feel the impact without butt kickers. Plus you cannot tell where the base is coming from. The MX150 processor with room perfect works real well in the set up of the 5.1 speaker system.
Hi Ron, thanks for showing us your awesome system.I was wondering why you had the subwoofer setup in the back of the room instead of the front? The Statement E2 model had their 2 individual subs setup next to each electrostatic panel, and would you share with me your logic or your listen preference? THX!!!
This is a Salamander cabinet. You can order it in many different configurations. As far as cooling, McIntosh amps are cool to the touch, even when driven pretty hard. The front of the cabinet are mesh doors. The backs of the cabinet has removable panels. I removed them all because of all the complex wiring. The shelves are fully adjustable. The McIntosh MX150 processor, I had to remove the feet at the bottom, and buy smaller feet to get some ventilation. Not perfect, but ok.
Great system, did you have the stereo cabinet custom made? How do you vent the heat generated from all the components inside the cabinet? thanks in advance!!!

I once had a wet dream similar to this.

Ah yes, the big bad rich are to blame for everything. Not to worry, the government will take care of everything and everyone....not.
