I need HELP. I did download this and i deleted my windows or maybe it just doesnt show on my sreen. On your video where it says WIndows XP , Windows Vista etc. mine says NST MAC OS X and when I click Enter it says that Windows failed to start. A secent hardware or software change might be the cause. I dont have the Windows Installation disc and I tried to make a Bootable USB but I guess the laptop wont read it. Please HELP. I even did the Windows Memory Diagnostic but nothing changes. HELP

This didn't help my problem, possibly made it worse. I have the GNU Dual-Boot Loader, and when I boot up Windows 7, it shows the Dual-Boot Loader I just installed, so now I have 2 Bootloaders, and that's just a waste of time. How do I remove the GNU Dualboot Loader.

@theif519 Fixed it myself by rewriting the MBR with Windows 7.

You can install windows 7 then xp and add xp to the bootloader with this program to dual boot. Very good program

I had just uninstalled Linux Mint on one of my laptops but the Linux entry was still there,even though I only had Windows. But this tool took care of that, and it also let me re name my Windows 7 heading on the boot screen to" Windows". But I would only use it to remove blank entries or re name. Nothing else as it could remove Windows operating system by mistake. Putting your computer out of action. Andrea.

I have the exact same problem, I had XP on one HD, I bought a new HD and installed 7 on it. So now I have two seperate HD's with XP on one and 7 on the other. I got EasyBCD so I could set up a dual boot, but it wont let me access the old HD to make a new entry for XP!

whoa thanks i have windows 7 dual booted but unfortunetley i had 2 of the same partition and this really helped because i was able to delete that partition. easybcd is way better than gparted. thanks wizkid

the boot loader is what the BIOS starts after its finished the POST that lets the computer load the OS u have installed. An example of a boot loader is GRUB, or Windows Boot Manager(which you see (WBM) if your system BSOD's and you are asked if you want to run in safe mode or start windows normally... thats a diagnostic part of windows' boot loader))

It looks like a great program. I have ubuntu installed but I never use it because I'm a gamer, I otherwise love the system. Anyway, I installed windows later so Grub got hidden.

I guess if I ever want to go back to Ubuntu regularly this program will do the job. Thanks WizKid!

if you have a copy of windows 7 and you are currently running xp you can copy the boot file in the windows 7 os under c:/windows/boot to the windows xp c/windows/. This will let you use easybcd on xp instead of having to mess with boot.ini
