  • lyrics?

  • most of the crew is,,,,frontmen not

  • Are the these same guys who did "SPINNING WHEEL" in the 60s?

  • hmm I don't think I have ever heard this song.

  • Thanks J.Levenson for turning me on to this old clip of one of Randy Newman's most famous compositions. And Is this Larry Willis on piano?! wow...Lou Marini - cool to get to see and hear history...

  • I was in a BS&T mood, thanks to hearing Will Young cover "I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know", and it's always nice to hear Jerry Fisher front the band rather than DC-T. Only got to see this version of the band once, but they were great.

This was the title track on Randy Newman's 3rd or 4th album, right before "Good Old Boys"

  • this for me is magical, the way he touches the key's the way he grabs that note on guitar, the tone, and vibe of it all.. After all these years i still sit up and pay attention to this, it's great! thanx for time uploading!

  • Your "feeling" was right on, rcalmes. Newman's stuff is so very distinctive. I think BS&T did a fine job on this.

  • Did Randy Newman write this? It "feels" like his writing.

  • You got it!
