  • awesome- but what i do is put 1cup of pineapple juice in the blender along with some plain yogurt and some strawberries and bananas. just to make it a little healthier, i add a small scoop of protein powder. i will be doing a tutorial on this really soon, so please keep watching !!!

  • i like using strawberries and bananas. i also use pineapple juice

  • Are you from Ireland?im from ireland but lots of people think I'm from america

  • are you northern irish i am ( you dont sound irish??)

  • Wheres the sugar? Lmao

  • Tried this its so nice! I love banana, rasperries and yogurt:)

  • i thought yogurt came from cows? correct me if i'm wrong.

  • Great video! It would be awesome if you would post this on StoveTopHero, this month the topic is "healthy" so....yours would be right on! Have a look. WIth your permission I could post it for you if you like. Thanks Mike

  • What's ur accent?

  • It helps if the yogurt is plain, the flavored ones have so much unnecessary sugar in them :)

  • i may have to make that one day...

  • omg! i love your accent xD

  • looks soo yummy but i would add some skim milk or soy milk

  • the same but with a little bit of orange juice it'll be more liquid and yummy so you can easily drink it

  • at 215 kcals? i dont think thats low ... maybe im distorted in perception but low to me is like less than 100 or 50 ?

  • @xCaucashx Yogurt: 45 - 120 cal, Berries: 30 - 60 cal, flax seeds: 20-ish cal = 100 - 200 calories.

  • @xCaucashx Sorry, I read your question way too quickly. If you eat three meals a day and consume the minimal recommended amount of calories, one meal should consist of 400 cal. So 215 is low. And as I pointed out, her App is not working correctly or that yogurt contains a lot of sugar.

  • @eizhowa oh thanks for the comment back! that was nice of you :) i guess i am distorted maybe, i just have 2 meals a day breakfast is around 200kcals and dinner is around 600 maybe ... so for me it was like a big calorie intake for a snack, but maybe ok for breakfast. but i dont snack really

  • @xCaucashx You really should bump it up to 1200 calories in total. I have had periods of 800 cals, and compared to 800 I have zero energy! (Ignore this if you are like 4'10" or are supervised by a doctor).

  • @eizhowa yeah i do feel out of breath sometimes and dizzy, but i dont know im probably just over worked. and no lol im 5'7" .

  • I love your little heart shaped tablespoon xx

  • @aleynawendy me, too :)

  • YUMMO...Can't wait to try it!

  • I would have added some ice to mine to make it not so thick, looks yummy though!

  • Yummie!!

  • Your hair looks so healthy and beautiful. What shampoo do you use?

  • @MissIraLee I read that too quickly, and almost asked you why you needed Shampoo to make smoothie.

  • We make ours with frozen fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries or mango), milk, protein powder, 1/2 banana, flax seed and ice. Delicious. We also take our supplements first each morning. Those are The Ultimate Enzyme Support made by Westhaven Labs, TostrerAll from Hampshire Labs and fish oil.

  • i like that it's pink too lol =)

  • You're accent is quite mixed? From the US, living in Ireland? If not, I'm so sorry, haha.

  • the colour of your hair is much lighter now (in comparison with that before and at your wedding) did you colour it one more time?

  • I've been a vegetarian for over 10 years.. And you don't only make your stomach happy... Your body feels so much better without meat too! Everyone should go vegetarian.., if I could have a wish come true.. But it's really easy and there's a LOT of vegatrian food that is soooo yummie!!

  • your hair is absolutely freaking AMAZING

  • Add a Bannanana :) LOL

  • Love MyFitnessPal! Thanks for the recipe. Simple and sweet. XD

  • This is very cool and simply, I will try it tomorrow. : )

  • i love the way your hair looks in this video! (:

  • Looks good.

  • Don't you miss meat at all?

  • I LOVE YOUR HAIRRRRRR! <3

  • Love the fact you are a vegetarian now... I have one year of being a vegetarian and I can tell you for sure it has been the best decision I have ever made

  • @bbcita26 Is it expensive to switch over to being vegetarian? It seems like it would be since you have to find substitutes for things... but I've been considering it for a while. :)

  • @thereisabetterWay323 well in my case I can say I spend lest money in food now than when i used to eat meat, but maybe is because I don't buy substitutes like "fake meat" or stuff like that, I basically eat vegetables, fruits, grains, seeds, nuts and ocassionally I eat cheese...

  • @bbcita26 Ohh, alright. Thanks so much! :)

  • im from ireland too>>>>I live in the west of ireland....xx hah

  • I LOVE your haircolor! What is it :')?

  • looks like berry flavoured yoghurt to me! :/

  • wat can you replace the flaxseed with?

  • @jade6902 replace it with oatmeal! Delicious!

  • love the quality of this video:)is that ur natural hair...its soooo long and beautiful :)

and love smoothies:) but kind of got sick of them

from having them soooooo much.Strawberry banana

is the best though.Yeah im vegetarian, half vegan cause

hardly have dairy.I always eat hemp seeds now so good:)

you can mix with coconut milk and coconut cream add sweetener

and cinnamon tastes exactly like rice pudding.

  • That is a great idea, I will definitely be making smoothie soon !

  • yumm!!

  • i can tell Jonathan has been editing your videos, there is more of your personality. i like them :)

  • MMMM looks sooo goood!!! xoox

  • your hair!!!! how did you get it so soft and voluminous???? please make a video

  • super yummy if you add ice as well =)

  • i don't understand these questions being asked like 'can i leave out the flaxseeds' and ' can i leave it over night in the fridge' - you guys have your own brains, think ! you can leave out flaxseeds and leave it overnight! it doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

  • i love your watch were did you get it?

  • love this, im def going to try it :) also i agree with the idea for the vegetarian recipes!! im always on the hunt for those!

  • love it anna :)

  • I like to make the same basic kind of smoothie for breakfast too. I like mine a little thinner though, so I usually add about a 1/3 C. of rice milk and some mashed banana.

  • can i leave out the flaxseeds?

  • Jonathan you are an amazing editor! My husband does the same thing. Very impressed. Anna, your hair is gorgeous! What do you do?

  • i have been making the exact same smoothie but i put fresh orange juice and banana in it aswell and it tasts soo much better! try it

  • I love putting baby spinach leaves in my smoothies because you can't even taste it, but you still get the benefits of veggies!

  • what can i use instead of flaxseed?

  • This seems really great for people recovering fromm wisdom teeth surgery! I couldn't chew anything when I had mine removed and what I could swallow was bland so this is great! Fills you up and is tasty!

  • Yes more cooking vid's =)

  • I use the same mixed berries, I mix them with a banana and some juice

  • @kitayout I've seen it in Tesco and Aldi!

  • sick quality :) definitly gonna try the smoothie :D

  • Looks good. But actually it is no smoothie, it's fruit yoghurt.

  • @MissLenatic

As far as I know smoothies can contain also yoghurt and add-ins like flaxseed. So this IS a smoothie. But you can say fruit yoghurt if you like. If I'm wrong tell me where you found the universal definition of what a smoothie is.

  • Comment removed

  • would it be okay if u made this the night before and stuck it in your fridge for the morning?? xx

  • @TheSatisfyingSarah the only problem would be the flaxseed, because they are so high in soluble fibre, they tend to swell up with liquid and form a gel, so it will probably get really thick. I've tried this before :-)

  • @TheSatisfyingSarah good question. when you juice unfortunately the moment all the fruits and veggies are mixed, the longer it sits, the more it loses its nutrition. so you should drink it asap. so i wouldnt reccommend making it the night before, because it will have lost all of its nutrition by morning.

  • @TheSatisfyingSarah You can, but it's not as nice.

  • I make this smoothie with vanilla soy protein powder for a great after workout meal.

  • where did you get the flaxseed? i live in ireland :) plz reply! xx

  • @kitayout they got it in tesco, it was in one of the daily vlogs. I've seen it in tesco and i think dunnes too but its pricey, like €7 or €8.

  • Thanks Anna for sharing this recipe with us,!

  • It looks so delicioouuuuuussss *_____* yummmy <3

  • Im obsessed with smoothies! mine vary from day to day, but generally it's: banana, strawberries, blueberries, plums or nectarines, flaxseed, and manuka honey, yoghurt (sometimes) and little bit of milk (to make it a little more runny) but it fills me up right up until lunchtime, and thats a big thing for me!! and it's yummy too!!

  • Your hair looks gorgeous!! Love the new filming & the pink straw! (: My fav smoothie is frozen bananas, dates & cinnamon! OMG! Soo good! xx

  • I have a question: if you are vegetarian, why do you eat yogurt?

  • @amerotsin Vegetarians eat dairy... you might be thinking of vegans which don't eat any animals products! (:

  • nom nom that looks so good. off to get my blender out and make some smoothies =)

  • Rice Milk

    Banana

Swiss Chard or handful of Spinach

No dairy, huge amount of vitamines (esp. K and C) from the greens and good for vegans! Regulates Sugar in Blood, Best for your bones, doctors' approved! And heavenly delicious. I loose 3 pounds a week by drinking this for my breakfast.

  • I usually make a strawberry smoothie. All it has in it is vanilla yogurt, frozen strawberries, orange juice and honey. It's delicious! :) I might have to try the flax seed in it too!

  • I also add a banana. To make it as a dessert, I add vannila ice cream.

  • Anna you are so cute :D

  • Yum yum! I love making a "green monster" smoothie. It's just half or one whole banana, half a cup of almond milk, half of water, ice, 1 cup of baby spinach and 1 tablespoon of flaxseed meal.

  • MORE COOKING VIDEOS!!!!!

  • I always make smoothies 😊 but not like that. I put apples, strawberry, banana, pineapple, pear etc.(whatever fruit I have really) And then I put a bit of vanilla ice cream, orange juice and 2 or 3 ice cubes 😃

  • I thought she'd stuck a pen in the smoothie at the end....then I realised it was the spoon lol :p

  • I put a banana, a cut up peeled apple and a bit of whatever other fruit I have and a cup or two of spinach with an ice cube or two to make it colder.

  • HOLY cow what kind of camera do you use please please please tell me :) I have a filming class next semester and need a good camera

  • @DoctorStyle22 I think it is a Canon eos 550d! :)

  • watching this while I eat a cake pop...........

  • Fun video Anna!

My favorite smoothies that I make every morning are my "green vegan smoothies"

I used a frozen banana, organic lowfat coconut milk, orange juice, ground flaxseed and LOTS of kale. It turns out a lovely green color. :)

  • What a coincidence! I was just looking up smoothie recipes on YT and then I saw this new video from you. After seeing you and Jofus make smoothies everyday, I bought myself a smoothie maker. I made a strawberry and banana smoothie for lunch today. My smoothie maker is now my favorite kitchen appliance! :)

  • i love the muffin commercial :D

  • Where did you get those super cute Tablespoons? (:

  • loved it!

  • Yumm!!! That looks amazing!!! Add some milk and ice to make it less thick and more cold and smoothhyyy!!! :)

  • I will definitely try!! Thanks!♥

  • I love strawberry banana smoothies best!

  • Love smoothies..have been drinking them for decades! But, not into all the organic hype..I just use reg. yogurt. I am a serious Carnivore and proud to say it!! LOL LOVE meat!

  • you have an app? i love apps! what was it called again?

  • Anna, I used to make smoothies every morning and I would add spinach into it about a cup or two. It blends down, you can't taste it. It is extremely good for you because it has a lot of iron (great for girls because most of us have low iron) and vitamins in it. Happy blending =]
