  • I noticed that during the video you network bar said "SOS" , thats what mine says now. My phone is unlocked but it isnt calling or texting, what does the "SOS" mean? and why isnt my calling or texting working?

  • @dariusofwgkta Hi there it could mean two things:

    1. You need to reboot your phone and it will catch signal after resetting

    2. The simcard you are trying to use is not compatible with your unlocked blackberry

  • @cellunlockernet if its unlocked shouldnt it work with any sim?

  • @oodles12 Yes it should, but you need to make sure the simcard you are trying to use is compatible with the phone

  • will this work in the bahamas?? because im from nassau

  • please when i enter the mep*2 :

i have network: blocked ???? why and what can i do ??

  • @Midopsy1 Network blocked means its reported lost or stolen from the carrier, you will need to contact the phone's original provider to remove that block. After you will be able to use the unlock code

  • @ILOVEHATERS231 Hey thanks you for letting us know! :)

  • Hi I paid for the code and when I try it it says code error. I emailed you guys the IMEI and the PRD. You guys hav not gotten back to me yet

  • @BrainP0w3r Hi there please check your email we should have sent you a new code, also you can PM here if you still haven't received our email. thanks!

  • If I do this, will I still be able to text and call? Also, will this give me Internet every where I go? Please respond. Thank you very much

  • @mychad5 yes you will still be able to call and text. Internet will be unlocked aswell. Keep in mind, unlocking purpose is to allow other service providers simcards with the same Blackberry phone. After you unlock you, just switch simcards.

  • bold 9870?

  • @ThatgReekGuy1 Yes we the Bold 9870 can be unlocked the exact same way if that is your question.

  • hello ... does it work on a BB 8310 ? it actually has no wifi .

  • @TheKikiPlanet Yes this works great on the Blackberry Curve 8310

  • Yeah, I have a Verizon BlackBerry 9550, I inserted a Filipino SIM, and the blackberry can read it, but can't make calls, texts, and receive either. I already wiped my BB, but it's still locked. :| Help meeeee. Thank you

  • @dannypatron666 Hi it probably means your phone is still locked, go to options>advanced options>simcard> press "mepd" if everything is disabled your phone is fully unlocked, if not you will require an unlock code to free the network

  • @cellunlockernet Thanks man, when I did the mepd thing, it's all disabled, then I just changed the Global thing to GPRS and UMTS, then 3g and 2g, and everything's fixed now! THank you so much!

  • @dannypatron666 No problem, glad to hear you have an Unlocked phone now :)

  • @dannypatron666 Verizon is nominally a CDMA2000 carrier. As far as I know, you will only be able to use special Vodafone SIMs issued by Verizon Wireless (who is 45% owned by Vodafone). As their phones are designed to run primarily on a CDMA2000 network, it seems unlikely that the GSM side of the phone will be SIM-unlockable. However, I'd suggest you try it anyways.

  • It is no longer free :( what do I do...I have been disconnected by my provider and have a sim card with another carrier. Because I am in a contract can I ever go back to Fido if I decide to if I do this. Do you know if I will be able to do this on a blackberry curve 8350?

  • @yellowlighter Once you unlock your phone it will not effect the carrier it was locked to. So even if you unlock it and start using it on another carrier you can always switch simcards and also use the previous carrier

  • what s if the network say bloked pls help!

  • @loco4532 Hi there if it is stated blocked, it means your phone reported lost or stolen from the carrier, you will need to contact your carrier to release this block. Once you do that the unlock code will unlock your network.

  • @cellunlockernet thank s will do that

  • I can't unlock my phone I have the torch 9800 an when It tells me to put the Mep code mine says 0 attempts left how do I get back my 10 attempts ?

  • @ResidentevilEX101 I'm sorry if you have 0 attempts to enter the code it is hardlocked and cannot be unlocked

  • does this work

  • @CrudStarBangin yes 100% Guaranteed to unlock your Blackberry

  • is it possible to use a bold 9900 on a cdma carrier? will 3g work?

  • @Executor009 Hi there it depends on the carrier, alot of CDMA carriers have converted to HSPA, for example an Unlocked Rogers 9900 will work on Bell network (used to be CDMA). You will need to check with the carrier first just in case. Hope that helps

  • i payed for it for a bb bold 9700 and its locked with tmobile and its been about 2 hours and i still didnt get the code. i only got a email about it and it said the i will get another email with the code but never got it. ill wait until tomorrow but about how long will it take to get the code?

  • @crazynick2525 Hi nick it is always sent within 2 minutes, please check your junk folder, if you cannot find it message me your order information thanks

  • hey i bought a unlock code from your site yesterday, on the turnaround times it said blackberry would take 15mins, but its been a day and nothing yet. Also when i try to track my order it says it cannot be found in the database??? My contact details are all correct and i got your receipt. please help!

  • @hospartan hey there please check junk folder, if its not there message me with your IMEI number and I'll check for you, all blackberry codes are usually 2 minutes

  • how to change to gsm mode went in mobile network options but dont see any thing to to change gsm mode

  • @nickelharris you only need to do that if your Blackberry is a 9530, 9550, or 9630. Its under "technology"

  • When I try changing the active to disabled, I press mep (hold-alt) 2 but nothin happen s

  • @GameAndTechMaster if everything says disabled it means your phone is unlocked.

  • I'm from the UK and I just got a pay as you go Curve 8520 on T Mobile. I want to unlock it so it can use a pay as you go O2 sim card but when I rang T Mobile they said if I get it unlocked I won't be able to use internet services like BBM and email coz the internet is built into the phone. I then rang O2 and they said they can support all the internet services and don't know why T Mobile would say that. Tbh I don't really know what to do so can anyone help?

  • @thevampanezelord Hi there yes if you unlock it you will be able to use it on the carrier. As for the internet you just need to change your APN settings and it should work fine. Unlocking does exactly that, allows you to use another carrier with the same blackberry phone

  • i did exactly what u said but my blackberry doesnot show disable or active it only shows unknown for all what do i do in that case

  • @loverabouy Hello, if it says "unknown" it is probably because your phone is not on GSM mode. You must go to mobile network options, technology, and change it into GSM mode. You must also have a simcard in your device

  • its not free?

  • @MrFrankscott not free, but its 7.99 and the code is sent to you in 2 minutes by email

  • does this work for 9780 bold?

  • @Wingman2308 yes the Bold 9780 is supported

  • so i can have 3G on my Curve 8520??

  • @AvailableSkilz After you unlock it, if the carrier you want to use it on supports 3g then yes it should be fine. But make sure the frequency of the device matches that of the carrier you want to use it on

  • I type in Mepd but the options wont show up

  • @lastson561 when you press "mepd" you will not be able to see the letters on the screen

  • @RyanHDMI then that means your phone is unlocked!

  • do you put in the sim card you wana unlock for.

ex: i have a virgin mobile phone with simcard, but wana unlock it to put a telus in. what sim card do i put in to start ??

  • @Mimi47674 Hi Mimi, you actually don't even need to have a simcard in the phone when you unlock it. Hope that answers your question

  • will this let u use data for fif u didnt have it already

  • @LkMMoDC hi this will allow you to use a different simcard with the same device. If your BB is already unlocked and the database is not work, we suggest adjusting your APN settings

    thanks

  • @cellunlockernet k thnks

  • It says network inactive, and nothing happens when i type MEP2

  • @iSaiF16 Hello if network is inactive, put your phone to GSM mode under network options, and it should work fine

  • @Apj96 yes we can do any GSM blackberry device, as long as it has a simcard slot.

  • is there any unlock for Malaysia GSM ?

  • @danielgodzillalim Depends some carriers don't have a network lock. Try inputting a non accepted simcard and see if you are getting reception

  • Hi, after unlocked the BB phone, can i use my data plan to access into my browser?

  • @temjinleow AFter you unlock your Blackberry you will be able to use data from another service provider. However you may require a Blackberry database from that service provider to utilize the blackberry data

  • AWESOME

  • how do yuh unblock a verizon blackberry storm cell phone with a t-mobile sim card
