How do i get the Maximise/Minimise effect 2 b smooth ALL the time? I don't wanna have 2 start a non-Windows theme program just 2 get it smooth. It should always b as soon as i start and end windows. Help appreciated :)
When i set my theme to Windows basic it uses the classic Minimise/Maximise effetcs (where u see the title bar of the window u Maximise/Minimise fly down and up from the taskbar/superbar) it doesn't work properly, it's always choppy. instead of a smooth fly up/down u see it going then it flickers or goes a bit slow. however if i start a program which doesn't use the Windows border theme (such as HP Support Assistant (I got a HP laptop btw) it runs smoothly everytime

using windows classic in windows 7 is a retarded move. who wants a 1995 look being used in a 2009 os? especially since aero is actually faster and much better looking and the UI was designed to look proper under Aero.
disabling aero means you lose half of 7's new features as well as slowing down the UI drawing since there's no more composition.
classic look in 7 is stupid, MS shoulda just removed it, it's been nearly 15 years now. it's time to go.
im only running windows 7 on virtual machine, dont really like it much but it will probably grow on me when the build is final and installed like a normal OS
if you're a mac user you're not going to reconsider buying a pc but yeah maybe buying windows 7 and running it with boot camp or parallels or vm ware fusion :O then again i think the new windows 7 has many features that are very similar to what Leopard OS X already has, windows 7 does look nice though and better that previous windows versions

On Windows Vista Basic, you can't use proper Windows Aero and it has less features and support.
