What about the fact that the genius can improve life for many people and even though they don't actually feel satisfied, they can gain satisfaction in improving life for others. Just because a fool thinks they are satisfied doesn't mean their lives can't be improved, its just they can't see the improvements like the genius.
Yes! Neat. The "greater good" idea was the first thought I had but decided not to write about it because I probably wouldn't explain it very eloquently. The idea of potential happiness was what I went with instead because that is the reason Mill gives in Utopia. Easy and solid, the kind of stuff profs. like.
