historically 2k HAS the best football game ever made,maybe even the better franchise.The sad thing is EA just adds in all these"new" features to blind EA fans but if you look at 2k games 5+ years ago all features those "new inovations" were already in 2k games. @Roy9030 2K hasn't been making Football games since EA bought out the NFL franchise. It's the reason EA is one of the most hated game publishers out there. Not only was the

2K football franchise considered the better game by the majority, just the competition alone prevented EA from doing what they have since, releasing the exact same $60 game, it's why Madden sales, although still high are in decline.

BTW, 2K's baseball franchise, this game, sells well but obviously FIFA is the big cow.

It was a trade kinda, EA bought the NFL franchise from 2K while 2K bought the MLB franchise from EA.

Not quite, EA signed an exclusive deal with the NFL for licensing rights. That's why 2K stopped making any football game for awhile. They made one recently, with historic NFL players, it wasn't very good.

I don't know about any MLB deals, but both 2K and EA make licensed MLB games.
