  • Please ,,, we will love a convertible,,,,

  • it sounds like a tie-fighter!

  • You can get one in California..

  • No you can't . Only in southern america

  • I want to go buy this car right now!! Where can I buy it, please?

  • Only few chosen resident in California are able to get these babies.. They have the fueling stations built in California for now..:(.. Bring some to New Jersey...lol

  • are they shipping any fcx claritys' to Virginia?

  • i like the idea of having the electrolysis device IN the car. that way we can use regular water vs using premade HHO that we would have to pay for at the pump. just another commodity.

  • Um, OK, isn't that what I was saying?

  • What about the heavy harmful metals in the Volt's battery pack?

  • I don't want a hydrogen fuel cell that must be refueled at stations owned by the oil companies, I want an electric car that I can plug in at home.

  • I sort of agree with you, but think about it, if we start finding oil alternatives now then think about in the tens of hundreds of years from now the alternatives to oil that we will have.

  • Humans won't live for tens of hundreds of years. We will eventually use up all the oil and have a war over the last of it.

  • Are you kidding me? Humans will live much longer than that...

  • The population is and the pace of the increase growing. In the next 50 years, the population of the world could easily double to 14bil. And the more people there are, the worse people will live worse as more people will have less to share. And more people means more emissions, natural resources will be used faster. Look at the USA - fighting in Iraq for the oil. Eventually, there will be almost no oil and other natural resources and people will be living much worse. More causes for war...

  • Humans are smarter than that; humans can adapt to survive.

I HIGHLY doubt that a war over the last oil will COMPLETELY wipe out humanity.

  • Well, if there is a 3rd world war, it will be nuclear. And with the destructive power of nuclear weapons... Undoubtedly, there will be survivors. But the Earth will so fucked up in terms of air quality, radiation levels and stuff that it will not be worth living on.

  • Like I said before, if we think of alternative energy/fuels now we can eliminate the risk of a war.

  • I know and understand what you're saying, but we need to change our entire wasteful philosophy with a more conservative one. Unfortunately, that is not what big corporations want. They want us to be wasteful and quickly throw out everything so we can purchase more new things. Our current philosophy is much more profitable for big corporations.

  • indeed and this philosophy has made the US the biggest market, the most powerful industry in the world since World War II. But now the trend has shifted to China with 1.3 billions people and still growing. imagine the Earth's resouces went US and China head to head in manufacturing. and for some resouces we just simply can't use alternative one escially wood...

  • Yeah, it is scary to imagine China's possibilities with their massive population and desire to get everything. In Canada, Chinese people get into 500K mortgages for their houses, but Benzes and Bimmers and don't give a shit that they will be deep in debt for over 30 years...

  • But what about the power grid when there are hundreds of thousands of Volts? The new GM Volt. But I reckon that in a few years of hard work, Honda can put up enough fueling stations all over the US. And then, price the car under the Volt and a big government rebate, and Honda will be raking in huge amounts of cash. Like the Prius, they'll have enormous waiting lists. And when GM (if they do) kick off the Volt, they will definitely recover from their current sales slump.

  • i think they could hold up to the expensive assets. some Chinese (Asian) friends of mine have brought a lot of money over buying stuff here, on top of that they can afford the immigrant status by $1,000,000 direct deposit into the US bank. and now i have a chill that we are pretty much controlled by the outsiders. the truth is, our stock market is actually controlled by Tokyo, believed or not and now China has stepped in...

  • ...US stock market is controlled by Tokyo and you didn't know that before? ..

US owes half of the total # of trillions to Japan.
