@napoli424 Actually, I do not straighten it. :( I may at some point in the future, but as things stand now I don't really feel compelled to do so. :D

my hair is curly, not all that curly, although some of my ends are that curly, but my bangs+roots to like my chin are so straight and its pissing me off. i think its probably from straightening and dying. all of my hair is like completely differnet curl and wave types -_-

@kendallbob Ah yeah, I completely understand what you mean. When I had initially started growing my healthy hair out 3-4 years ago, I had so many different curl/wave patterns it wasn't even funny. And, it was all related to how damaged some pieces were over others. What worked for me was just taking good care of my hair until I could reach a point where I could cut the damaged wavy/straight pieces off.

Just keep at it and don't let it stress you. :D With time and TLC, your hair will be lovely!

hi, I have naturally curly hair to I was wondering is it ok for me to wet my hair every day and apply styling products in the shower. I only wash every other day with a sulfate free shampoo and only use organic products is this a good routine? I hate 2nd day hair it never looks as fresh as the 1st day

@ISVandME You certainly can! I really do need to just get a new video up, because my routine is so much different during the summer than it is the winter.

Basically, my hair is wet every day, because I like to detangle with my conditioner. So, every day, I re-apply my leave-in on wet hair, along with gel/other styling products. This is perfectly okay, and it doesn't weigh my hair down as long as I use actual shampoo within 5-7 days. :)

@LegendaryTeetm Awww, thanks! You're too sweet. <3 I re-grew my hair to waist-length over the course of about 2 years after initially cutting my straightened, damaged hair from being waist-length to shoulder length. :D

So, it doesn't take TOO long. Just give it some time. :)

your hair looks like mine, just mine curls are a bit smaller. i put mine up on top of my head, but in a half pony with the ends on top. i use a big fabric pony tail that leaves no creases. then i just sleep on satin pillow cases. i use to do a normal high pony, but ever since switching to half pony, i notice it last longer. i use gel & your hair in this video looks like my 11-12 day hair! i make it last! i only wash & style every 14 days.

I got the satin caps off ebay, but I'm sure you could find them at Wal Mart, Target, or even Sally's. Just see what you can find for the cheapest price!

Also, I do not put any treatments on my hair as things stand right now. I'll be uploading another video soon with an update on any changes I've made to my hair routine. :)

My hair has been growing back out for about 3 years (something like that). It didn't take too long for it to completely grow from my shoulders to my waist after I had cut off all the damaged areas (where I had been straightening for years and years). I don't straighten my hair at all anymore, and it's as healthy as ever. :)

When I was younger, my mother would braid my hair for me to sleep on, but I always felt like I got headaches when it was done that way (maybe she just pulled them too tight? I'm not sure), so I've avoided it ever since! :D

@GeminHoffman That is a good question. Honestly, I have no idea. Once your hair begins to become damaged, it's damaged. My best advice would be to stop straightening it (or reserve your flat iron for special occasions only), and see if it'll recover over time.

I know for me, my hair was really screwed up from years of straightening, and I just had to grow it out and cut the damaged hair as I went. But, my damage may have been more extreme than yours. :)

I like straight hair but I think I like my curly hair more sometimes so thanks, I'll see what happens when I stop straightening it and see if it goes back to being a bit healthier. I've never heard of "henna and placenta" by Hask, but I imagine it's a hair lotion. I've tried a few in the past, but I feel as though they aren't good for my hair. They leave it feeling oily, and they typically don't help with the frizz. In the end, I'm better off without it. :D

Yes, my hair color is completely natural, but I'm surprised you like it! Haha, I've always hated how my hair is a combination of black, brown, and red. D: And there's no specific patterns--some strands are just different colors than others, lol. It's weird.

I don't know enough about hair color to honestly give you an opinion. But, if I ever do learn anything about the pros vs cons, I'll make a video for you. :)

@sunsilks Um, well, I've always had waist-length hair since I was a child, but I chopped it off to my shoulders about 3 years ago so I could grow it out healthy and non-damaged from chemicals.

So, it's taken me approximately 3 years to get it back to my waist. :D I think a lot of it is genetics, however; my hair grows really fast, so I don't think it's typical to expect something like that to occur with most people. :)

Its when you put your hair in twist and then unravel them when they dry.. they give a pretty spiral pattern (which you already have lol) ..there are tons of videos on them ..I like them b/c they help to preserve my curls after I do a wash and go.. A youtuber name 1ballerina is huge on twistouts and braidouts..she is beautiful curls also.. take care

When I was little, my mom would braid my hair... but since that time (I was maybe 7 or 8 when she stopped doing that), I have never really done anything else with it. I'm pretty tender-headed. D:
