You know it's not actually called a "Triffis," right? That's just colloquial shorthand from a movie. It's called a Belle (as one poster pointed out) - see FIG Code of Points, 2009 v.3, Group V, box #60 = F.

It's not a new skill, the fact that it's called "Belle" means that it was invented by Maik Belle from former Eastern Germany. I've got some old gymnastics tapes where he does the "Belle" as his dismount, not as good as Horton, but still...

That would be called a Belle, and it's in the codebook already. So unless this is the guy who it's named after at the official FIG event when he first performed it, it's already been done.
