Good point. I was also confused when one of the characters used his magic demon arm to blow a whole in the moon. There's no way in HELL he could do that. Even in a cartoon, jesus.
@Shadar22 Well if memory serves right he was a very differet character in the manga, different personality and storyline. Anyways, it's not like half of the Gung-hos weren't just as boring; they are just there as the slightly more difficult villains of the week.
Kinda, his sax has a hidden machine gun and when Vash got his ricochet shot in, it stopped one of the barrels from being able to fire. I think it was like the bullet ricocheted back into the gun and destroyed it. There was alot of power in that thing not able to get out you know. Just my theory. Beleive it if you want to.
the people who came up with the different ideas for the 'powers' (sorry couldn't think of another word) of the gung ho guns were genious! so original, it's beautiful, along with the animation and voices, as well as lines. never before or again have i seen such a well done cartoon/anime
@unusedname197 My god he does... & when he said the word "sometimes," well. That did it for me. The Hornfreak is Italian.
At least Hornfreak (& sum of the other Guns) had a much more honorable death in the anime. The manga!version of his death... man. I HATED Legato for it. But then Bluesummers had a nasty fate too.
Midvalley The Hornfreak Was Amazing. Probably My Favorite Of The Gung-ho-guns. If You Find A Recording Of His Song Please Post Up The Name And Where We Can Find It. Nice Job With The Video As Well.
he is my favorite villian on trigun. i dont know the song he plays on this video, but 2 other songs that he plays on the show are "permanent vacation" and "fools paradise"...i have the trigun soundtrack =D
@weightofthestorm This is actually the intro to Permanent vacation :) If you watch Demon's Eye, he plays this leading into permanent vacation as the climax when legato kills everyone in the bar
that has to be THE BEST FUCKING NAME FOR ANY JAZZ MUSICIAN EVER.
sorry nat king cole and lance armstrong.

Also, there's no way in HELL you could use sound waves to deflect a bullet, react in time like that, jesus.

@RichardMNixon
Hey, with advanced mutations, and other crazy science, you could do it.
But the sound wave thing, bullets are too fast to react in time.
Btw, why did Vash even hang onto that gun knowing what it could do?

Oh yeah, Vash alone did that, because Knives had NOTHING to do with those situations did he? EH?!!

He makes the sound waves hurt you, some the lines were badly flubbed in the translation which is why I suggest watching the sub version on hulu.

"Somehow he's able to synchronize the sound waves with the sensation of pain!"
Uhhh...what?

I need to check around online and the sub version and the manga, but as of now, it's just not really explained I guess.............

Is the song Midvalley plays with his sax a song on the OST?

Lamest villain ever. His name is stupid as hell; yet he says it constantly.

@Shadar22 How could you possibly not love a villain that fights playing Jazz on his saxophone?
Tarnov 1 year ago
@Tarnov A villain is more than his weapon. This guy's presence is so trivial it's like they just tossed in his fight for the hell of it.

There is no such thing as an honorable death. Only an honorable life. Neither of the Gung-Ho guns had one.

Midvalley is so awesome, I'm so sad that he died :(
I wish I could play the sax like him! Not the pain-causing part, though that would help me if I ever got attacked :D
