@stutterstep59 Being a "true fan "is overrated. Allowing yourself to miserable for 20 or 30 years for some misguided notion of hope in a franchise that doesn't even try anymore is dumb. Loyalty from fans during a franchise downturn is what keeps the ownership from improving the team. If you show up even when they are bad then there is no incenvite to improve. They make more money if they don't need to spend on top free agents to bring fans into the ballpark.
