  • heeeeeeeeereeeeeeee's ROCKY FLOP!!!!!!!

  • Tradition and Respect for all visitor to Neyland. Standard at Tennessee. Go VOLS!!

  • Someone told me this was an a-hole thing for the band to do... to play the fight song better than the other team's band.

  • I'm a Bulldog. circa 1966 . The TN Band's welcome is over the top cool and something all the SEC bands should do. Thanks UT.

  • that is a pretty cool thing!!!

  • I think Oklahoma does, or in the case where the visiting band is present, they pause and let them play their fight song, and then continue on with pregame.

  • Actually, this was a normal occurrence back in the day. It was like a sign of respect and way of saying thanks for coming so to speak. Thats cool that UTs band did that though, and I now have a new found respect for the university.

  • Classiest band in the nation... who else plays the other teams fight song? Notre Dame I've heard does it too but other than that it's unheard of

  • The South Carolina Band does it also

  • @lurch028 Most of the BigTen (or whatever you want to call it now) do this

  • @lurch028 Michigan State does that too.

  • @lurch028 Almost all of the BIg Ten Bands do, as it is not common that bands travel in the Big Ten, and a short version is incorporated into the pregames of the bands for other fight songs
