I think no matter what, as baseball fans everywhere. I am a Phillies fan, but if he took less money to go somewhere else, that would impress me. I think it speaks volumes to see a sports athlete decide to take less money to play where his heart is at. I remember updating twitter about this so-called "mystery team" like a madwoman, and there were rumors saying that the Phillies were in the hunt. I didn't think that it was true until I saw it on sportscenter that we got him back, and i was staring at my TV in complete shock. I was SO SURE that he wasn't coming back to Philly, and now here I am eating my own words.

I am a diehard Yankee fan, but I can't hold a grudge against Philly or Lee (the idea that the Yanks were offering so much more was a bit overblown, the deal was longer, but per year amount was similar). However, aside from that it was clear he was comfortable in Philly, and he wanted to pitch there, you can't be upset about that, just tip your hat. The rotation in Philly is absolutely insane, period.
