Unlimited energy sources are out there! But Millions are spend in supressing that information,Get a motor that works with the power of magnets only at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Big change is comming soon!
I understand why you would make your own CPU for the fun of it...but why in TTL when FPGAs offer gads of logic fun without all the wire tracing, pcb design and other headaches?
I just got the AY-3-8913 in a jameco grab bag.
I have 3 articles completed for a diy cpu on my website.
awsome i want to do this some day im twelve so if you can make teaching vids of like how all the chips and stuff works i can got like any thing i got like 100 old computers with pentium 1 2 and 3s and i can get other stuff too so plz help
The song in the demo video is called Agent X II, by The *genious* Tim Follin. Its a Spectrum ZX tune that I downloaded as part of an emulator collection, then converted for direct playback on the AY-3-8913. No MP3 version, sorry.

I want to build my own computer. What a cool project! You should write a book on the process :)

That's amazing. The closest I ever came to doing anything like this was a 4-bit ALU. Great job!

that's awesome, i'm currently in the build of a ttl cpu myself (8-bit data bus and 16 bit address)
what frequency is the machine running at?

@stevechamberlin is it possible to overclock it ?

I build my own computer as well, but only with transistors. It has only a 1bit Processor
and because of that only a one bit data bus. With my cousins I have this channel NoFak3rs. There I show a bit about how it works, but on german.

Very good job! I'm trying to build a cpu too, a 16bit one. Now the simulation is half finished in a program called Hades. I hope I can do music soon!
(Sorry if i made some mistakes but I'm not english)

Every time I try to post a comment with a link to the song, YouTube filters it out as spam. It's really irritating.
Try doing a Google search for:
"sergey bulba" "archives of music"
The first result is the page you need.
