i forgot about this event. even thought i dont think i was playing, i was watching my friend play during this event.

I remember this they cut it short by a week or 2 because there was too much complaining about people not being able to use AH.

On my server SW was the only safe place and you coudlnt even see the stone floor it was just bones.

I remember camping at the SW portal tower infecting people as the tele from Shatt to SW to try and take over SW.

I also remember 100s of people trying to kill a'dal in shattrath.

i had my own little resistance and we kept moving when the plague hit a city if one of us got infected we left that person to die

This was the greatest time in WoW Lol they should have kept up with this general idea if they wanted to have a good sub base. But now it seems that they just dont care anymore. Lol any way the game is dead to me now so it dosnt really matter Roflcopter.

this was the time when it was safer to be out in the wilderness than your own home cities =p. these were fun times! often had to go to shatt to do any buisness and that only because i could stay off the ground there. i also remember all the qqing over it, i loved it.

This event was the most funnest thing i have ever done on WoW. Nothing like running around crossroads as a lvl 70 and infecting the NPCs and lowbies with my friends. Anyone know if theyll ever do it again? :P

This event is useless, weakass elementals that spawn in 1/2 the cities every 3 hours or so and some rifts occasionally... fun

Remember arriving to Sentinel Hill as a little lowbie. There were corpses all over, I went further in and found a roaming zombie, then around me near the inn a few NPCs with the plague on them about to transform, I turn around and on the road a group of player ghouls closing in. All I could think was "Oh no..."

I don't think any event ever will capture that feeling of helplessness the Scourge Invasion had. Even now on a lowbie alt when I see a elemental rift I think, Oh buffs! rather than RUN!

lol, this was amazing. I hate how people complain that they couldn't do things, - I would have time to finish up my auctions before wandering over to an argent healer to be cleansed. It was actually a lot more fun then people say.

They'll do something similar next year when Cataclysm comes out. When Burning Crusades came out, they had HUGE demons wandering around the entrance to citys.

I found it easier to infect teh starting areas aka Northshire valley, which was abundant with humanoids. They marched on the town, attacking the guards, and turning them into zombies. Pretty soon, the army was on the march.

Aaaah, the Plague event!

I remember me and a few guildies going to Shat and infecting everything there in a early phase. Tried to kill a couple of Argent Dawn healers (I think we got one). Next day when I logged on Shatrath looked as crowded with zombies as L4D on Expert mode
