I was gettin' kinda bored with this - until I saw arugula, bacon, blue cheese, and pear slices.....I propped up like a hungry puppy........I soooo gotta try this one....THANX SCOTT
I think I'm going to make this kind of pizza on a large scale. I'll just double the dough recipe. I'm thinking maybe two 14" pizzas with 2 large cloves on each, and then topping them accordingly. After making pizzas in this fashion a few times, I'm no longer a fan of red sauce pizzas, unless it's from my favorite pizza place. It doesn't get any better than this Scott
I don't know where you came up with that pizza combo but man oh man, I can't wait to try that. That sounds like a combo that need to be marketed, you should copyright it !!
Scott! I can't believe I watched this on an empty stomach!!! I'm sooooo hungry right now, and you just kept tempting us at the end, saying your going to 'give it a taste!' That was a 'diet' pizza, wasn't it? Pizza stone!!??? Do you think I could use a piece of marble??hehe...well, I do live in Greece!
That's a great question. For the most delicious pizza (like the one you get at yuor favorite pizza place with the crispy crust) you really should go out and pick-up a pizza stone. They are relatively inexpensive and will give you the best pizza you can make at home.
If you don't want one... well, you could use a pizza pan or a flat baking sheet.
@chicogirl61 I also use a cast iron pizza pan which could be better as a stone can crack and the cast iron pizza pan makes a great pizza. I got mine on Amazon.
Another great video Scott, I love grown up pizzas, that combination looked delicious. I'd make it with pancetta or prosciuto then, then top it with fresh rocket when it's done, so so good.
I was watching you put those ingredients on the pizza thing what the hell is he doing? lol
But, by the end it all sounded so good and unique...I love all of the ingredients you used but would have never thought to put them together on a pizza!! Thank you so much for posting this. I already added the stuff to my shopping list for this week!
so scotty, your finally back, we missed ya brother, ive been aching for a homemade pizza, the only thing I cringe at is making the dough, I havnet used yeast since home ec.!!!
Lost me at Arugula. Won me back with Bacon and Bleu. Very creative and delicious looking, Scott.

I make a salad very similar to that with spinach instead of arugula and toasted walnuts instead of bacon. But that pizza looks great!
