Honestly I loved christopher, he always wanted lorelai. I hate that tey didnt end up together, more impotantly i hate how they made chris such an ass in the end of it. i know i will ge tons of hater comments because of this but luke was never my favortie when it came to boyfriends. i felt like he shuld have moved on, she should have been with chris and rory should have ended up with jess. I loved new jess and hated logan.

The scene is sad, but it had to happen. Christopher was always an illusion, a dream from her youth that she never quite got over from. She knew she didn't love him as she had loved (still loved?) Luke. Christopher was a rebound guy and she basically acknowledges it when she told him that she jumped into a relationship with him without having really dealt with her feelings for Luke. Another one in Lorelai's long, long list of bad decisions.

And Chris was a bit of a jerky Husband anyways not there for her when she needed him. When Luke is always there, reguardless of their relationship he just didn't marry her quick enough grrrrr and I want a movie to see it happen

But anyway, enough of my complaints! I LOVE this show, and this episode is so amazing!
