Anyone whose watched the real Mr. Bean for a long time will notice several nods to the real show in this episode. Also, I just figured I'd point out that the Alien sequence most likely stems from the fact that people originally speculated that the Mr. Bean "Spotlight" opening sequence showed that Mr. Bean was in fact an Alien. This would further explain why Mr. Bean was the way he was...body of a 50 year old, mind of a 6 year old and such.
