Yes well its a good as time for the country to reinvest back into itself.

I personally would like to see the national party draw up something whilst they are in government for a proper defence force for New Zealand. The enlargement of our airforces and a bigger navy.

too right mate, as a kiwi concerned about our military i cant but agree that a plan of national defence that relies on the americans and aussies to do all the fighting is not really national defence. at least the bloody labour government which gutted our proud military tradition are gone.

i understand in current economic times we cant afford tax cuts ... but i knew that back in October 2008, how come john didnt? i've got to ask myself .. was he blind or lying to us ...

Actually, Labour didn't disclose in the PREFU the big holes in ACC and the incoming National Govt were not briefed on just how bad the economy was.

Yes we knew about the recession, but remember Labour went out and bought NZ rail back when they were behind in the polls in election year. That's outrageous.

It is great to finally have a government which has it's head screwed on correctly; 600 more police, more funding for education and health, and a national cycleway project which will create even more jobs, reassuring people that the super for pensioners will stay and keeping debt at an acceptable level. This is the type of responsibility and direction this country has been lacking for nine long years. Cheers Guys!
