@7777777fresh I am relaxed and pretty certain all is well. the comet is almost completely past the sun now. looks to be running ahead of schedule which is good it means later in November it will be farther from us at closest approach. I think. Not worried about at all really but I hope to see it.

@mariamole011 and you wont see any , it is to small , you need a pro telescope , to see something like that . and even if it would go towards our way , this object is 5 miles in diameter , we can destroy it before it riches the the Earth or we can send a robot on it , which can change the orbit of the comet and make it go to a different direction , They would of think of something . One thing i will tell you for sure Maria , the end of the world is not going to happened ; so , enjoy your life)

@uturniaphobic dont lose sleep over thinking that these comets will affect us in any way. the gravitational forces are negligible to say the least. maybe if they were within a lunar distance they could have some affect but yo have to think. the moon is 1/6 times the size of earth and at its distance it affects tides sure but comets fractions the size of the moon at distances much greater than the moon cant affect us at all.
