@TaterTots620 creasing is when you use an eye makeup product that separates between your eye "crease" after a while. If someone says it creases that means it happens in a short amount of time even with a primer.

There are very few HIP shadows that are great. I bought the metallic yellow and purple combo and i love the yellow, but the purple can go. Same for the metallic blue/brown. I think their metallic shadows have far more color payoff? Also: those revlon products are crapola...i bought the same ones and the color when applied isn't the same and it creases horribly!
I bought the precious metals or whatever it was of the revlon cream shadows....it was HORRIBLE. On a rare occasion when I've run out of bases I'll use the pink in it, but It was really a waste of money.
L'Oreal stopped testing on animals (I think) in 2002 if I remember correctly. The FDC has put a ban on all animal testingso now if it's manufactured in the US, it should be cruelty free.
I found that Maybelline New York Eyestudio creases really fast as well. altho if you use it alone it is simple to smudge it and it goes right back with out fading

News flash...most products are tested on animals. For example your Hair color....just one product that is tested on animals. If you take a stand....take a full stand for your cause... not just for for YOUR convienence. Just something to think about.

Not every hair product is tested on animals, I am sure if she is saying she doesn't like products that test on animals she isn't using a hair dye that does. How would that make any sense? I only use organic, earth friendly, non animal testing products and trust me there are a ton out there. Just for the heads up, don't preach when your not even sure about what your preaching :)

I have the milani lip gloss and the smell is a bit off but it doesnt bother me that much. I also have the wet & wild matte which is awesome but has limited colors.

Usually the color and texture of makeup changes over time because it goes bad. Heat affects it too. It's like food and goes bad. The colors will morph into something else because of that. So the mascara may have been green at one time but changes from age. If it isn't popular it can sit on drug store shelves for years. Check the experation date on the package. What sucks is sometimes there isn't one.

I feel bad for the animals but on the other hand animal testing has resulted in a lot of cures for illnesses. However that's different then testing products for vanity. I own the The pallet from Revlon with the purples..and it was really hard to but i got them to not crease throughout the day but what I did was just used a purple powder eyeshadow that were kinda the same color in the crease so i wouldn't actually have the creme in the crease..and it looked good though its not worth it to buy those..even though they are pretty colors.
I love the revlon cream liners.. I always put a powder shadow over top of them though and they make other colors brilliant. So give them a chance! But never put powder (translucent or shadow) under them or they roll and cake

I find things that I like and then I find things that I dont and wont ever use again. So Im basically curious as to what the store policies are for returning these items that I know I wont ever use again instead of having them stack up.

Fortunately, every minute, thousands of new people are aware of this and many are taking measures such as not buying products tested on animals. Be yourself, and you should be proud of you. You're really beautiful inside and out. Do not apologize for defending a cause as important as animal rights.
I think it is important to mention that drugstore makeup is starting to become just as pricey as many sephora and ulta sold makeup products, however, the quality of many brands like urban decay and benefit is superb. So do you want to spend the extra couple of dollars for the better quality, or don't you? Thanks for this video though, it is very informative.

@hapibth0pel3ss the problem with that thought is, animals don't have to help you to learn if something is safe for you or not. they obviously can't give their permission for testing. they're not volunteering for that . human beings although, can. in the end, make up is not something like drugs or anything, so the thing that the companies have to do is, first finding the most possible safest , harmfull-chemical-free formula and then test it on someone who is aware of everything going on there.
the revlon creamy shadows don't crease on me at all i love them! BUT i have super dry skin so maybe that's why. i actually am obsessed with those eyeshadows, so for gals w dry skin they are awesome

They put the chemicals that the makeup is made out of in their eyes to cause infections and things like that. They want the makeup to be safe for us, and do so by testing it on animals first. It's awful and disgusting and unnecessary since sooooo many other companies DON'T test on animals.

I really have never understood why companies test on animals, why would you test makeup and bath/body products on animals? Doesn't make any sense to me at all, why not test on humans to put the products to the real test? Just so strange.

@xxviciousbeautyxx Probablly because they don't want law suits if the people get a rash or part of their face burns off from the chemicals. I feel bad for the animals but on the other hand animal testing has resulted in a lot of cures for illnesses. However that's different then testing products for vanity. I kind of see the reasoning of both sides. So I don't know where I sand on the issue. I eat meat so I don't know. I feel guilty about the cows but chickens are idiots so I mostly eat chicken

I own the The pallet from Revlon with the purples..and it was really hard to but i got them to not crease throughout the day but what I did was just used a purple powder eyeshadow that were kinda the same color in the crease so i wouldn't actually have the creme in the crease..and it looked good though its not worth it to buy those..even though they are pretty colors.

I love the revlon cream liners.. I always put a powder shadow over top of them though and they make other colors brilliant. So give them a chance! But never put powder (translucent or shadow) under them or they roll and cake

I agree with you on the animal testing thing. It's wrong. end of story.
BUT... I fell in love with 2 Loreal products BEFORE I knew they tested on animals...
I've never been able to find another product that works as well... and that really bums me out. :/
I use Loreal's auto advancing eyeliner, and liquid liner. :P
Do you know anything else that works as well that I might be able to switch to?

Holy smacks your in the bay area also. I have a question. Im am just now learning to use makeup, and so I am experimenting with different products. I find things that I like and then I find things that I dont and wont ever use again. So Im basically curious as to what the store policies are for returning these items that I know I wont ever use again instead of having them stack up.

Could you please recommend brands that don't test on animals whatsoever? If you don't feel like commenting on it here, if you could just message it to me that'd be fantastic. Sometimes it's hard to tell because I know that even if a product says "Not tested on animals" that might just mean the finished product. I'm actually glad you brought this up. Most people who do make up on YouTube don' mention it at all. It's nice to know someone cares.

I had no clue Covergirl tested on animals. Like I personally thought they stoped. :( Well I dont use it anyways, but ughhh.
I had a very different experience with the Revlon cream shadow, it's amazing.
I love your makeup, I wish I was bold enough to wear it. But I am not. Only a bold lip for me.

CORA, I think you're amazing. I'm with you against doing animal testing. Fortunately, every minute, thousands of new people are aware of this and many are taking measures such as not buying products tested on animals. Be yourself, and you should be proud of you. You're really beautiful inside and out. Do not apologize for defending a cause as important as animal rights.

I think it is important to mention that drugstore makeup is starting to become just as pricey as many sephora and ulta sold makeup products, however, the quality of many brands like urban decay and benefit is superb. So do you want to spend the extra couple of dollars for the better quality, or don't you? Thanks for this video though, it is very informative.

@homatekk I dont think makeup companies should test on humans first, im against animal cruelty myself but i would rather have something tested out first before putting it on the eyes, face, or any other body part.

@hapibth0pel3ss the problem with that thought is, animals don't have to help you to learn if something is safe for you or not. they obviously can't give their permission for testing. they're not volunteering for that . human beings although, can. in the end, make up is not something like drugs or anything, so the thing that the companies have to do is, first finding the most possible safest , harmfull-chemical-free formula and then test it on someone who is aware of everything going on there.

the revlon creamy shadows don't crease on me at all i love them! BUT i have super dry skin so maybe that's why. i actually am obsessed with those eyeshadows, so for gals w dry skin they are awesome

They put the chemicals that the makeup is made out of in their eyes to cause infections and things like that. They want the makeup to be safe for us, and do so by testing it on animals first. It's awful and disgusting and unnecessary since sooooo many other companies DON'T test on animals.
