Yep, you are totally right.

And f1 2010 will be a joke as well. The only way to have an authentic simulation is on PC, netkar pro is fucking amazing, but rFactor has some amazing mods and is also extremely realistic.

And there are many other sims, GTR 2, GTR Evo, lfs, etc...

@LiteSpeedProductions Well, I'm sort of holding out for F1 2001. I have F1 09 on the PSP and though it's totally arcade-like, it's a decent racing fix.

I play F1C myself(until I can build a comp worthy of running rFactor at maxed specs) in a 2004-based league, our laptimes at Montreal were around 1:13ish at full tilt and low fuel.

What do you mean ... It is a good lap.., but it isn't awesome .... If you go more after the black rubber on the track and get a later Apex ..then you would go almost 10 seconds faster... But it's still a good lap : D

I play the game on hard mode. And it is tricky at times. But to be fair the mojority of the games i play are racing games so i guess its just me not used to anything else. Im .starting to wonder if there is going to be another formula 1 game out again, because studio liverpool no longer own the rights to the game

Im I missing something here, iv played it a good few times and can only shave a sec at most off my best time, on medium there like 2/3 secs ahead.

Is there any special way of going faster, just got the game any help or tips would be appreciated or im i just shit and need practice, been melting my head for ever since I got it.

For players who play this on hard with no phyics...my question is i all fine and good when the track is dry, but when i play when its wet i cant get the fucking hang of it. any tips>?

you got to treat the car differently. try a different line in the wet.

You have to brake earlier. You have to accelerate in a different way(how much pressure you apply to the gas coming out of the corners) and also the line that you use. I know some people turn into the corner early and some late but i usually prefer to take the whole corner almost as if i was making a circle going into the corner and coming out. But mostly it's about feel. you gotta feel the feedback that the car gives you when you drive it. I know it's hard but that's how i can explain it.

First of all I have to say that I never play this game. But from videos which I saw on youtube. I cant get rid of felling that this game is just good looking.

Its brakes, turns and have grip like hell. That delay when you changing gear up is weird too.

Montreal is the easiest circuit in my opinion. Its pretty hard to screw up a lap unless you spin, which happens the odd time you go over the kerb at the chicane coming up to the hairpin.
