  • I think I have a CUNNING plan!!! ;)

  • isn't the cleaning lady from tales from the green valley?

  • The horse is like; "Yo, Tony. You OK?" Then start checking after his valet. 2:47

  • Nice subliminal message at 2:26 and 1 nano second?!?!?! You have to pause very quickly to see it. Some woman in jeans.

  • @footballshortss wtf lol

  • @footballshortss doesn't have to be a subliminal message though. could be a leftover from the cut out advertisement break

  • @footballshortss woah. nice catch.

  • @footballshortss it was the beginning of an ad dude.

  • @footballshortss its the start of an ad he cut out? Calm down Mr Paranoid, time to wear your tinfoil hat.

  • @footballshortss yay peacocks 3:10

  • @footballshortss could it have been the tail end of an add from the uploaders edit-would be interested to hear from them re this??

  • Tireder? Do we use that words in the States?

  • @baigandine don't think thats a real word anywhere lol

  • 2:25 ???

  • why not just move the washing area closer to the water supply, this way they wouldn't have to lug water (not buying that part)

like why would they beat linen with big 30 pound paddles (it seems ridiculous)

How about taking a small bin down to the water supply filling it up and washing it by hand? or use a stick and stir it

    My take

it was a mans world back then and maybe they got a kick out of making women work harder. LOL

  • @dodico20

Using a little stick for agitation or rubbing some small section of cloth on a washboard isn't going to dislodge tough dirt or stains, especially on a large scale. Primitive people used rocks, and medieval people used paddles to get the job done.

  • @baraxor I dunno man I watched all these vids a while back and my take was that they reenact it to make some of the jobs look harder then what they actually were.

They seem to chum it up a bit. I just glanced at my old comment and seen the 30 pound paddle statement and still think that's a bit to much for cleaning linen. To me it's like using a sledge hammer to hammer in nails just because the boss gets a kick out of making people work harder then needed.

  • what is it?

  • Lol 3.45mins....wearing a suit with trainers?! haha

  • ???

  • 2:43: "Hey, buddy, are you alright?"

  • LOL...that's what I thought too :P. That and 'Whatcha doin' down there?'

  • great show
