@Dutchmeistermusic Hmm, disagreeing with mira2605 . 'Cuz it actually does pass as salsa... You can both dance 1-5 and 2-6 on it. The salsa dance steps are based on the sound of the clave (Youtube the video "Que es la clave de Salsa? clave 2/3 clave 3/2" : and skip to 2:18 to hear the beat ) The clave is well incorporated into this song, so...Tadaaaa, salsa! :D Nice mix!

i understand her point.. but i am one single musician, not a full band..

if i had 12 hands and instruments. (conga, tamboras, timbales, piano, bass, rasp , brass / trump sections) etc. i would give her salsa the way she like.

@Dutchmeistermusic Tito is not the only one who make not only salsa, BUT when he make salsa - it is salsa! The salsa has certain things that make it different and are part of it. This is a good mix, but definitely not salsa, at least for me. I also do not want to argue what is and is not salsa. But though I am not a pianist, I am salsera from many years. That is NOT salsa! It is not sufficient to make one song faster to call it salsa, even is not close! Are you can dance salsa with this version? If you can - you must check your rhythm sence.
