@sonorous I believe 006's execution was NOT staged, he really was a good guy at first, and then perhaps the bullet just grazed the side of his head, or it happened to be a blank, or something. Maybe it was really a head shot, and he just survived, which is possible IRL. He then got mad at being left for dead, though it was a reasonable mistake, and turned rogue. There's no way it would have been staged, as even blanks can kill people at that close range.

@MKNinjaFan It was staged as Alec's parents were Lienz Cossacks who were betrayed by the British and left for dead in Stalin's execution squads. Alec remembered, and collaborated with Ouromov before this mission. Alec was angry at James for setting the timers for 3 mins instead of 6, it would have given Alec enough time to escape. It wasn't a blank as Ouromov killed a soldier with the second bullet. If you look when Ouromov "shoots" Alec he lifts the gun just over Alec's head when he fires.

@Icemanrussian I believe the door was sabotaged - in the beginning, Alec placed a decoder for the door on the keypad, and a few seconds later, he replaced it, but it triggered an alarm. But nevertheless, it probably changed the code for the door, leaving the russians on the inside, with no way to get it. But I could be mistaken though (it's just my interpretation of the situation. Maybe they just enjoy shooting glass windows xD)
