Im just a city girl, and lived in the country for a few years and had some herferds.. we had to help ours give birth and it was amazing... there is no way in hell fat mamma could have ever pushed blue out on her own. That bull is HUGE.. and precious.. I like to make the babies pets, but my ex wouldn't let me... (jerk) anyway.. awesome!
And How is the mom cow?? and i saw that you didn't clean your hands yet :D
i remember in the video 1 which is mom cow is giving birth, you put mom's poop on baby's face :D great job !!! i so conmoved what you do !! you didn't even care cow;s poop to touch with your hand ~~!!
Thanks for the follow up video of this little fellow! And thank you for giving him such a great (even if short) life. IMO it's not the length of their life but the quality that counts. Good job!
I used to live with my grandma and I was outside with the cattle everyday.Feedin em and all that happy stuff then I had to move away and since I moved my grandma and her husband sold all of them cause they were too old to keep up with all of em. S onow I aint got none as pets anymore....I remember when I was littler trying to go in the field and play with the calfs and getting kicked in the stomach many times.also raised chickens rabbits and goats
So think about that the next time you tuck into a hunk of cheese and a glass of milk. Some of these bull calves don't even go that far. The entire thing is sick.
@msrret Not nessicarily. Sometimes they get cows to produce milk the old-fashioned way: feeding them hay and the like. Or, at least, that's what my grandma told me, and she lives out in the countryside, so she would know bout these kind of things.
I really appreciate the effort you put forth in doing your videos. I do the same things every day but the ordinary working man dosn't know what is involved in the task of being a farmer. I forgave all of my chores and field work to have my arm up into a cow to save a calf.
:D

And before anyone says anything about how cruel that is.....it IS a common practice!Get over it

Must have been a sad day when you moved and had to leave your animals behind

lol why would he never have been born? Lol I used to keep heifers and bulls and calfs as pets:)
Horsefreak802 2 years ago
If everyone was a vegi there would be no point in rearing him - There would be no market for the beef
wow - you raised cattle ! Do you have a farm ? and why did you stop keeping them as pats ?
holsteincowboy 2 years ago
how long do you raise em till he becomes food?
Horsefreak802 2 years ago
About 2.5 years
holsteincowboy 2 years ago
oh...Hes only got a little bit longer then:( Think I may become vegitarian...I feel bad for all the animals being killled
Horsefreak802 2 years ago
He has a good life outside grazing pasture If everyone was a vegi he would never have been born so please keep eating those beef burgers lol !
