This was filmed in the mountains just south of Santa Clarita, CA... which is about 20 miles north of Hollywood. Very similar terrain, and of course plenty of fires up here in summer!

ti can burn in 800 degrees too hot when a thunder zap a tree in the forest then it fire and burn.

Indeed these fires can get very hot - I've seen melted aluminum engine blocks in puddles under burned-out car bodies. Amazing stuff.
