  • It's so great when she sings in SPANISH!

WOW ... FIRST SINGER THAT I HEAR DOING THAT SO DAMN GOOD!

AMAZING, AMAZING SONG ... ENDLESS SINGER!

  • Wow, she's still good..& the song is great.

  • She may be 62 now but her voice is still amazing! She can still sing! We love you Donna, keep on singing and making new albums!

  • Absolutley lovely

  • Not heard this until now, what a great track, catchy or what ????????

    Top Tune !!!!!

  • me encanta

  • we love you donna!

  • She is better today than ever. God bless her.

  • who cares if Donna Summers' voice was Auto Tuned??? This is what Professionals in the Industry do: they tweak a performance to the standards that the song demands...Madonnas' voice is autotuned over and over again but does anybody say anything about it??? I highly doubt Donnas' voice was Auto Tuned and if it was who really cares...This album 'Crayons' is different from anything she has done and all the songs fit...She has been singing since 3 years of age... Maverick Ashley Lenartson

  • @mavericklover who cares if its auto tuned? die hard donna fans do------auto tune is nothing but a gimmick and a trend---real singers dont need studio gimmicks--donnas allure is her amazing versatile voice----auto tune sounds too manufactured--leave auto tune for the pop teen wanna-bes and the tired repetitive sounds of hip/hop------"Crayons" was by far her weakest album since "all systems go"

  • @mavericklover The difference is Donna doesn't depend on auto tuning,Madonna does. Donna just uses it as a cool effect

  • She's a lover, not a hater. all of you out there, please do not spread empty, crazy, wrong info and gossip about Donna. She doesn't hate gay. I definitely don't feel hated by Donna.

  • @wintthiriaung Agreed. People who hate cannot sing like this at her age, and neither do they look so good. Many don't even live to see 60. Donna is about 63-4 by now. Her thoughts have formed the contours of her face, and she has a very kind one.

  • love her!!!!!

  • Love It!! You go Donna!! You still got it!

  • que du bonne-heur toujours au tope moi j'adore, je l'admire depuis les années 1970 continue Donna

  • @antsdick How can u tell auto tune is being used please??

  • @antsdick check out her live version's of this track on here... She sounds exactly the same

  • Fuck you haters! Listen to that voice. Over 60 and still strokin'! Go Donna gurl, you are one of a kind and still keep us groovin'.

  • Donna has a new single coming out this August, caled "To Paris With Love". We love you Donna! We can't wait to hear it.

  • Donna is my crush girl forever

  • What a great song,go Donna go :)

  • Very awesome. I really appreciate that she keeps that Disco feel, but she incorporates the21st Century Dance beat to it.

Kudos to her... I need to snag this album.

  • Did She say I am converted ?!?

  • @ari1234a I didn't hear it, but she definitely is that.Search her clip 'Forgive'

  • She still looks hot.

Hmm, maybe I should get this album. I didn't even know he had new material since the 80's.

  • Even at 60 years old Donna Summer's still a beautiful woman, I wish my future ex will look like this @ 60. LoL

  • wow. not one of her best.

this woman is amazing but...i think her older songs are better.

  • Her songs have an interesting mix of disco and modern hip hop. I like all her music but I wish her songs got more publicity. She needs to release another album. She needs a comeback!

  • @alecwhitelib Hmm you've a good point

  • @alecwhitelib The comeback is in the new version By Y&M .Please Check it & Rate :)

  • donna summer is the queen of disco!!!! she will forever live same as michael jackson, the king of pop!!!

  • 5****** Is a good house version !! I invite yours to hear Y&M vERSION :)

  • I'm Absolutely in love with that woman and this Song!

  • I am a furnace come burn in me...tee hee Imma fire and I'm burning so bright

  • I am a furnace ...WOOOOT

  • I have always been a fan of Donna Summer. Such an amazing singer and still looking beautiful after all these years. I always listen to all her songs and my favorite is Dinner with Gershwin.

  • how great is this!!!

    Thanks Donna!!!

  • Donna Summer is a Gay icon

Barbra Streisand is the Gay Queen and Pope

    :-)

  • How can we fit in Cher and Madonna?

  • @atrocchia

Cher herself said in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that Streisand was number 1,Madonna was number 2 and she Cher was 3 in gay popularity

  • O gosh so sorry I'm offending ppl when I say how much Donna Summer and Barbra Streisand are loved by gay ppl, please forgive me

  • @Homonogamous WHAT ARE SAYING? Are u a rainbow child, as my son, LUV my gay friends and son, we have too much fun!!! Chill and feel the music. I;ll dnce to this anyday.

  • @ladybug4evermore

what u mean chill,i was joking

    what u talkin bout ladybugwillis?!

  • @Homonogamous Talking bacK at you, I hope you like this music, I CAN'T B/CUZ i HAD SURGERY AND HAVE CABIN FEVER.....cccccccc!!!

  • @ladybug4evermore

All tha best for a speedy recovery :-D

  • I love the beat to this. She's growing as a musician. I am still shocked that she looks so young. But her soul is young. She's beautiful, a great role model and talented. The era doesn't hold her down.

I wish I was like her.... but wait! It was because of her dedication and her musical curiosity, she is still around. Love the fact that she's open to new things. This is true talent. I am just fourteen years. I wish I can go back in time and see her grow as a musician. Love her!

  • That magisterial contralto, the gentle jazz touches in the harmonies and phrasing, the intensity of her delivery, the cascading hair and... that face to die for.

I have some things to be thankful. One of them is that Donna Summer's voice has been part of my life for the past 40 years.

  • great

  • Good.

    Hm in 2010!

    Amazing.

Thanks using 'an eletronic equipment' in 70. she didn't forget how use it NOW!

  • Uh yeah, she was on Larry Flick's radio show talking about how the gay community are her "peeps" and always have been. I heard it live. You're quite wrong about her.

  • Dude, you're misinformed about Donna Summer. She loves everyone. This woman does not hate anyone, especially gay men.

  • What the hell? Dude what are you talking about? Like what everyone said here, she respects everyone. I checked your profile. I am aware of the fact that you are part of the LGBT community. But that is not an excuse for you irrational comments. You are just adding on the hate for LGBT communtiy. And you wonder why people don't respect you.

  • one of the great artist seen her live in77...very beautiful woman.....best ever

  • 1 of 3 great songs from the Crayons album.

  • Not everyone from that point and time has made themselves out of plastic. She is beautiful. All real. If you think different. Prove it. Also what is it to you? If we still had music like this and sounded like this, maybe just maybe the kids of today wouldn't be so over weight. She was and still is awesome.

  • @juceme67 u r jealous

  • Comment removed

  • Is her life...her body .....let she do whatever she wants with her money

  • You're an idiot. It's called Photoshop. She is almost 61, naturally beautiful, overweight and has a fear of surgery. And those are facts.

  • Wow. Great comeback. What are you, like 4 years old?

  • She is all natural...no cosmetic surgery.

  • She is so beautiful one of the most beautiful women in the world.

  • total agree BD

  • donna every day sings too much better ,donna reloaded !!!!!!

  • La REINA del DISCO regreso

  • Is that disguised racism an attempt to prove you arent a nazi white supremacist?

Who the hell are you to claim that someone has wasted their career? As far as i know, she was free to work with whomever she wanted. what have you ever done? You shame our state with you're rascist right wing leanings scumbag

  • Checked your page. All your videos are of white people, and i notice you have been receiving messages criticising you for your racism. You have also peppered the page with holocaust references. U look and sound like a typical white supremacist nazi scumbag. Do you also have a skinhead? maybe a little swastica tattoo somewhere? Additionally your name '096756' ? is this one of a number of trolling sign ins because you have been banned off of here before?

  • I respect the fact she has some of the lyrics in spanish here in "I am a Fire".

    Buena Donna!

  • I still think Donna defines disco and since I STILL love disco, I still love Donna. She just knows how to sing! Bravo!

  • still absolutely incredible!!!!

  • I think I can get my boyfriend into Donna Summer with this track. ^_^ He usually doesn't like the music I like, but she bridges our tastes with this album. Very new, and still tasteful!

  • she is back, i love here voice, and she is looks great still wow!!!!

  • I remember her since wayyy back.....

  • Donna, your still on fire. Love you since 1975!

  • she is so good ....

  • She couldn't have just called it hot flashes?

  • Donna does not age! She gets better! :D

  • Donna Summer is still young! Bravo! Tks for uploading!

  • she keeps on rocking love this erik

  • mi piace donna summer ........

  • la amooo peerrr yptuu

  • TI AMO QUERIDA GATONA !!

  • You can never go wrong with the electric boogie sound.

  • Oh puhleeze.....you have NO taste!

  • i love this song... from the first time i heard it

  • You suck!!!!

  • Hm, old style lyrics, old style rhythmic base, old style chord progression, old style vocal setting.

    Calm down, because:

    THAT IS ALL I WANT!

    And Donna delivers.

    How great.

  • Yeah!

  • Ela está mais bela que nunca!!Hem?

  • Ms. Ross was the best disco DIVA and started it all... even Donna adores her.

  • Ms. Ross did not start disco...

  • I know Donna since the early 70's. Some years later as a school DJ in East Berlin (!) she was always one of the tops. I love it very much to remember that time. It was simply great - it was some kind of Studio54 in the east :-)))

I'm 46 now, but if i hear & see Donna today - it is still like a flashback. As all the years never had gone.

And "I'm A Fire" is a real SMASH i think !!!!!!!!!!!! So great.

    Olaf

  • I shall buy all of her new records, she makes me feel 16 years old although I am almost 50. THANKS DONNA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • ???? what did she said ??? do know???

  • Giorgio Moroder ended there many years colaboration and trew all new materail in the bin. Beacause of her remarks about the gay people.

  • To much photoshop in the picture.

  • I still think that this song would have sounded perfect in 1977 or 1979 in the disco era. This retro sound works in this 2008 song! Even for 7 minutes, so common back then on some of the stars of that period. Sounds like Boogie Nights by Heatwave in some parts. But this is Donna all throughout! Love that breakdown in the 4 minute section before the percussion section jumps in!

  • I've been a fan since the beginning of her career, and this is one of her best efforts. It was worth waiting all these years for, because Donna is proud of it, and happy with herself, that energy comes through.

  • Donna is at the stage in her career where she doesn't have to prove a damn thing! everything from this point on is just icing on the cake! her LEGEND was cemented in stone long ago! i'm young-24yrs old and even i know that today's pop divas can't outsing her! she sings effortlessly while others like mariah, christina, and britney are always straining like hell to get the notes out!

  • You should check out Laura Branigan too if you like a good strong pop\dance vocalist. Check out her song, "Moonlight on Water" among others. She's dead now but her music lives on.

  • Branigan4ever you are so right! i always did love Laura Branigan! She had a Really good voice! "Moonlight on Water","Gloria" her cover of "Dim All the Lights" and one of my all time favorites by Laura-"Self Control", she may be gone, but a voice that strong NEVER dies!

  • ettu tay ettu pom pom

  • obviously some folks dont get irony

  • the whole album sucks

  • Oh now....now......... now! :) There are several gems on Crayons, including this song, "Fame the Game", " Stamp Your Feet" and "The Science of Love", "Crayons" and "Be Myself Again". Rarely does anyone put out an album that is completely great.

  • what mix is this?

  • This is not a mix. It's the original.

The whole album rocks!!!! Glad to see her back!!! GO DONNA!

  • She collaborated with some very tallented people on this latest release, you obviously do not know music, this latest release is very innovative, and besides what is wrong with the 80's beat? In fact it would be cheap to insinuate that this is cheap 80's throwback, retro has been the thing now for over fifteen years now with pop music, the 90's were somewhat in need of an identitiy in my oppinion. The 70's and 80's sounds were not that different, yet, still produced some memorable music.

  • the solitaire club mix is 20 times better

  • I like this one. Sexy! But what does "you're like wter on my chocolate" mean?

  • Che MADONNARULES tene un poco mas de respeto x la diva pedazo de boludo! Esta mina cantaba cuando vos todavia saltabas de un huevo a otro..! MORE RESPECT WITH THE DIVA LITTLE SHIT!

  • ok listen, she is so famous and she picks these retards for producers and writers and music makers? what is this crap! sounds like 80s junk! she should be like madonna and kick some serious ass!!!!! get timbalind, neyo someone! help her! i mean im so dissapointed! a comeback! whatever

  • You know when I've heard this song in the club, I thought it was probably Loena Lewis! Forgetting the age factor, just the fact that of an artist taking 17 years off and returning with new material this relevant just doesn't happen. Go Donna!

  • Donna, you are excellent !!!!! You are one of the icons of the '70s and 80's ,and nobody can say nothing about this!!!! You are amazing and you keep the touch !!!!! I`m still loving you, sincerely, from Argentina ... elemental watson 5000

  • She looks so pretty in this picture. It makes her seem younger than she is...go donna!!.

  • I´m think that the good things are near, wait 4 a while......!!!

As the old wines....more time more delicious...........!!!!

Hahahahahaha........go DoNNa....no matter what the people say you are going to do it!!!

Now her new # 1 hit on BILLBOARD HOT DANCE CHARTS is "FaMe (Tha GaMe)"

wait just wait let the play begin!!!

  • woooooooooow, i like this tune! miss turner, what u waitting for?

  • i agree..the young talent would have a #1 hit w/this song w/the attitude looks and dancing! only reason....Donna would outsing any of them w/this song, but they'd still out sell because of above reasons!

  • Crisco, Donna has done it all and at this stage in her life I do not think she cares one iota about people's "opinions" about her choices. I initially liked this disc because it was her, and it was new...but it didn't stand the test of time (2 months) before I tired of it. Either way it's still much better than the utter shit the youngin's are coming out with these days!

  • I like her music. This album is really good from what i've heard so far but this track sounds like a demo!

  • "crayons" was a big dissappointment for alot of diehard donna fans, many people were expecting and album with more of a "dance" slant to it, instead we get a mish-mash of ultra-bland badly produced pop songs, "im a fire" is the only song remotely in the dance vein, and even that sucks. its badly written, poorly produced has a weak hook...she really missed her mark with this one...ust terrible

  • I couldn't disagree more. I love the new album, "Crayons". So, it's not what I expected, who cares. The songs are fun, the lyrics smart, and the production impressed me. Besides, it's got a good beat and it's easy to dance to. What more does one want?I'm so happy that Donna Summer continues to grow as a singer, artist and entertainer.

  • well its all subjective, i happen to think the productions and lyrics, for the most part, fall short of sensational...i for one was very dissappointed in this album...

  • Crayons is the BOMB and I'm a fire is the EXPLOSION,her old stuff was good, but so is the new stuff,so for those of us who are stuck the past-catch up, and move on,cause Donna and the rest of us have.

  • keep it up donna....nice songs but tracks like hot stuff and i feel love remain classics.

  • wonderful!!! she´s the best I love ya donna

disco queen is back again to make us happy

  • 11111__________1111111111111 11111__________11111111111111 11111__________111111111111111 11111__________11111_____11111 11111__________11111_____11111 11111__________111111111111111 11111__________11111111111111 11111__________1111111111111 11111__________11111 11111__________11111 11111111111111_11111 11111111111111_11111
  • I loooooveeeeeee iiiiiiiiiiiiit!

  • WOW this is great. I haven't heard Donna's stuff in years ever since 'she works hard for the money' lol, her voice is absolutely outstanding. These 70's 80's divas really know how to get hold of a song and sing it. I like it *****

  • I still love this song! It's reminscent of her '70s disco hits. It would sound perfect in 1977, 1978 or 1979, but it's brought into 2008. Sounds closest to Heatwave's Boogie Nights or The Groove Line in some parts. Donna sounds great vocally on this song. Has some techno sounds within it.

  • wait....this is NEW? wow...cool.

  • LOL omg...I saw some older white guy JAMMIN' to this in his car last week. I turned off my music and rolled my window down to hear what he was jammin' to. It was this....I looked it up and ALMOST didn't click this video because I never would have thought it was an old Donna Summer song. I thought it was a new techno song. Glad I found it. :)

  • its not old. it came out this year!

  • 3 words "Enjoy the song" thats it! if you don't like it go somewhere else and listen to whatever it is that you like. i don't put down any music i don't appreciate because i was taught better than that, why would i listen to something i don't like and make a unapreciative comment? it doesn't make sense. I love this song! if you don't than thats your buisness, but don't spread your hate or harsh criticism to those of us who like it.

  • true

  • wow i love donna

  • Whoa she's singing in spanish? nice touch! XD and nice track!

  • disc0guy79...There are more valid ways to interpret/appreciate music than through the intellect via statistics/methodology etc. You're like the guy that doesn't like Christmas just because people are making money from it. It's nobody's problem but your own if your inner child is dead and you have no romance in your heart. The reason you call yourself disc0guy79 is because 79 is how old your mind/heart are. Try appreciating something for its essential nature/musicality instead of cold mechanics.

  • Because society is basically a slut, of course "Bad girls", "Hot stuff" and "She Works Hard for The Money would catch on. However, I do not usually go for the same stuff as everyone else. What about Donna's more charming, underrated, sophisticated accomplishments like the "Another Time and Place album or "Wasted" "The Only One" "Love's About to Change My Heart" "I"m Free" "I Love You" "Happily Ever after" "Looking Up" Mainstream society usually goes for the crappiest shit, ergo nix "I"m a Fire??

  • This is my new favorite song. After listening to all those groups that resort to my masculinity like,Chevelle, Linkin Park and Testament, it's good to get the romance back!!!

  • THE GIFT THAT JUST KEEPS ON GIVING.But after all these years, I still do not know what Donna Summer looks like. She is a master of disguise because she looks like a different person in each picture. The picture above is definitely one of my favorites.

  • its been retouched to death...

  • actually is the term "house" used anymore? isnt that sort of passe like the word "disco"?the word "disco" changed to "dance" around 1982-83,(if you remember) but what did the term "house" change to?

  • The term "house" didn't change. What ended up happening was that "descriptors" added to the name house (deep house, hip house, progressive house, acid house, hard house, disco house, Latin house, etc.). Most electronic dance music is divided now into either house, techno, trance, breaks, or jungle/drum 'n' bass, each genre having several subgenres/hybrid genres of their own.

  • Ese disco es como para sacarte de la tumba y ponerte a bailar Donna Don´t forget to visit Chile

  • Oh, I...uh...yeah...love to love you...Donna!!!!

  • This sounds very nice... I'm glad that she returns!

  • Absolutely love this song!!

  • she is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO DONNA~!~

  • LOVE THIS SONG!! THIS IS REAL MUSIC!

  • I am everything I want to be. very nice song

  • Any American who expected this to be played on ANYBODY's radio station is a damn fool. When was the last time you heard a HOUSE track on a mainstream American radio station?

  • Maybe Americans should drop their prejudices then. And stop thinking themselves as the center of the whole damn world. Always putting "aye" or "no" in the right columns does not make one a smart mind...

  • @ SFinthehouse: what's itching? old stuff is not always necessarily bad stuff. Do you prefer Britney or another Psycho-Glittered bitch?

You like wine, I like water. Live and let live.

  • I didn't say that old = bad. All I'm saying is that there is nothing wrong with Donna keeping herself relevant by changing it up a little bit. It's no different than when she teamed up with S/A/W in the late 80s. That was a popular sound at the time and she was smart to go with it.

  • It depends on her ultimate goal in this industry. If her goal is to remain a "niche" artist and remain one-note then sure, she should stick to dance. If her goal is to expand her repertoire and prove that she isn't just another disco diva, then she should be allowed to experiment with different genres. I may be in the minority here, but I like it when someone who are known for one particular thing decides to step out of their comfort zone. And that applies to everything, not just music.

  • I love her song "It's Only Love" the bonus from Crayons, it's amazing. This song is also great, they have a similar feel and sound. The rest of Crayons ain't good at all though. Only "It's only love" and "I'm a fire"

  • And Fame the Game & Sand On My Feet

  • Are among my favorite. I love Fame the Game, that song sounds either better live.

  • The same producer, Sebastian Arocha Morton, was involved on both of those songs for Donna Summer. I agree that both songs are similar in the rhythms and techno dance grooves, but entirely different songs.
